If they repaint this Swerve into Gears I might be onboard for the whole experience. As it stands, though, these new Legends class figs don't really fit size wise into either of my Classics collections.

Take off your Hasbro blinders. In no way is this "way better"

It's called an opinion. And "Hasbro blinders" as you call it is a perfectly good reason not to like 3rd party stuff. They're just toys, not politics.

Getting two of Cosmos. One for them, one to repaint as Pathfinder and Spay-C.

Swerve is, quite literally, the best. Saw him in the case; he's the perfect size as established in MTMTE.

Except that the iGear cosmos isn't an original design. It's based on Don Fig's Stormbringer Cosmos ust like Hasbros.

Hasbro has all the right to do a figure based on a existing designs because it's THEIR OWN DAMN PROPERTY!

I love this size and the tripple changing micromaster targetmaster partners are specifically aimed at my interests.
Swerve and cosmos are going to be a bit larger than legends as Their more like commanders though with 5mm port hands. I think they could fit rather well with classics. Though I'm probably going to have to make some shelf change ups since I want most the Lost Light Autobots together.

I'm really glad they did not hold back pics of these any longer. Doubledealer is a gorgeous redeco. But I like it because of the colorscheme and the face on the Aitcraft nose, rather than being doubledealer. Maybe that part will grow on me. Rhinox could not be more show accurate. Just amazing. At least I can guess tailgate and Whirl will be just as stunning as the other new molds.

Definitely plan on getting Swerve and Cosmos. Swerve will replace the GDO repaint I bought and Cosmos will fit better on my Classics shelf than TFU 2.0 Legends Cosmos.

I would not be opposed either for a Gears repaint, in fact, I hope for one and also hope we get some more Legends minibot upgrades like Brawn, Wheelie (YES I SAID WHEELIE :p ), Bumper, Huffer, Beachcomber, and Pipes

I wonder if that tiny shuttle will fit on top of Stratosphere's vehicle mode.

I forgot to take care of this one in my other post, so I do it nao.

If you look at the new Prime and Bumblebee out now, they are the same size as these folks will be. Had they been straight up Scout size, I wouldn't mind at all. As it stands, though, they are too big for a Legends/Legion class collection, and Windcharger TOWERS over them. Not exactly what I'd want in my collection.

Plus I'd be at a loss at what to repurpose that GDO Swerve as. Smallfoot, maybe? Just add a touch of blue, I guess.

I hear where you are coming from on this. What I am doing is going to pose the Legends Prime, Starscream, and any of the Legends class scale figures from larger characters with my Encore Fort Max and Gen Metroplex. The Legends figures based on Minibots are going with my other classics.

As for GDO Swerve, I was also thinking the same thing. Maybe a rookie Ironhide or even Kup before he got old and tarnished to off blue :p

It's great that we're getting Swerve (I can see people dumping their iGear Veer faster as soon as they saw the news). Cosmos is a pleasant surprise too.

I do wonder that now we're getting a new updated (and larger) Cosmos mold, if Takara-Tomy will still be releasing the original Legends mold in the EG/EZ line (for playability with Metroplex), similar to Legends Optimus, Starscream, Prowl, Hound, Bumblebee, and upcoming Beachcomber. I was hoping they'd release the original Minibots (Cliffjumper, Warpath, Wheelie, Cosmos, etc.) since the Henkei ones are so expensive and hard to track down, but new Commander class Cosmos throws a monkey wrench into the works.
