I would guess Skids would be repaint into the TF the ride guy. I forgot the name. Alt modes are close to me.

 

That would be Evac, and that honestly wouldn't be much of a repaint. Their decos are almost exactly the same...

 

Those all look quite spiffy. I really would like to have the Waspinator as I don't own the original, but Dreadwing's probably my favorite.

 

Man I still can't get over the new Beast Wars figures! Considering I'm a die hard G1 fanboy I'd never think I'd be this excited for them. I sure hope Hasbro updates a bunch more too. Be nice to see a newly sculpted Scorponock , an Blackarachnia. Fingers crossed!

 

Nah, they'll probably do it with the new Swerve. Either way, it'd be about damned time...poor Gears has been left out in the cold, even Huffer got a Botcon toy.

Also, am I the only one who thinks Skids' vehicle mode looks...chunky?

P.S.: I'm hoping Hasbro make Flywheels out of Blitzwing. If Doubledealer can get some love, why not Flywheels?

 

Skids looks like he can kick so much ass it's sick. Missile clusters on his shoulders, in addition to all the other weaponry. Dayumn! Can't wait!

Since no one else has pointed it out, but some have made the mistake already - Goldfire is not Bumblebee as Goldbug. Goldfire is IDW Goldbug as IDW Goldbug. In other words, a character entirely unrelated to Bumblebee beyond resemblance, just like Cyclonus, Scourge, and Galvatron.

that skids is so good. Easily the character I've been wanting an update of most (aside from a new rodimus and a few others), they definitely did the mtmte design justice.

 

You're wrong. In the recent comic Bumblebee was rebuilt into this body using parts of his Earth-mode and "Goldfire plating". So this is IDW Bumblebee rebuilt into IDW Goldbug who is not called Goldbug. The Throttlebot is still around somewhere too.

 

I literally teared up when Waspinator was revealed at the panel. No fucking joke.

And yeah, further echoing that the Goldfire toy is Goldbug-Inspired Bumblebee from the end of the most recent RID.

 

I almost cryed when i saw waspinator....it's been a very mong time sincs hasbro could make me this happy!

Goldfire is obviously Goldbug. Is there only me that would like to see a Bumblebee release from that Wasp mold?

Unless you've seen a bio that says he's not Bumblebee - this month's RID #18 has explicitly shown that he's a rebuilt Bumblebee.
