I'm all over Skids. To me he is the best surprise for these deluxes. I love waspinator as well even though I hope eventually they will re-do the entire TV cast for BW. Gold fire I might pass since I like the bumblebee better.

 

As someone whose car has a license plate frame identifying it as G1 Skids... you can probably guess which announcement I was most excited for. I can't wait to get that one.

 

Waspinator's an instant buy with Rhinox. Hoping to see more Beast Wars for the anniversary because these are turning out great.

 

Well, my shopping list has increased. Definitely plan on getting Cosmos, Swerve (replacing my GDO one), Goldbug, and Skids to add to my Classics shelf. I was a bit disappointed they I bought the Takara FoC Skywarp when Hasbro announced their own but hopefully the Hasbro one will have the black and purple and I can make the Takara one a generic seeker trooper.

 

I like the way Skids wrist guns fold under - However I'm not sure a Archaeologist needs 10 guns and 16 rockets mind. Unless their name is Daniel Jackson that is.

It´s based on IDW Skids and still have no idea what he was. Remember, amnesiac bot.

The most likely idea is that he´s a DJD Mole, which could explain the firepower.

 

I'm disappointed they didn't take the Generations Bumblebee mold and redeco'd it red as Windcharger instead of Gold Fire/Bug. Seemed like a no-brainer to me. As good as Scout Windcharger is, I'd prefer him being a Deluxe same as Classics Jazz or the Lambo twins.

 

Honestly after the last issue I think he's connected to Tyrest and Star Saber much more than the DJD. I'm still saying that Tarn is the mole. He's just TOO over the top not be.

(btw you're wasting time explaining anything to RedAlertRescue, he hates IDW and everything about it like it killed his family and then used their dead bodies to lit his house on fire)

 

I haven't gotten this month's comics.


As for Skids, he was like that with his original figure. Maybe not to this extent, but still he was seriously packing.

 

Dude's a walking arsenal, no doubt. I'll have to give his large rifle to United Jazz though (I never liked the collapsible gun that Jazz came with) since it looks vaguely G1-ish and no one's ever thought to make a more accurate gun for Classics Jazz (not even Maiden Japan though he did make his grappling hook).

 

Waspinator is sooooo freaking bought.

Is it just me, or does Skids's rifle look like it belongs to G1 Prowl?

It does, doesn't it? I already gave Henkei Prowl a silver Maiden Japan G1 rifle so Skids's gun will go to United Jazz instead.
