Personally, I would like all of them to be made because I want to see Hasbro & TakaraTomy's take on combiners using the modern G1/Classics aesthetic.
That being said, I would like to see Bruticus the most since he is composed of military vehicles, and even though we just had FoC Bruticus quite recently, I'd like to see him still.

I'll second this (^) statement. They definitely need to make something to replace that MESS of a combiner.

That's where you're wrong my friend. When was the last time you saw a decent g1 combiner? Bruticus? That hardly counts. And Landfill had a decent figure already.

So I was looking through some old pics on my hard drive earlier, and I found this pic amongst them
    [IMG]
Did this hint at upcoming figures?
Looking around online I also found this pic
    http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attach/4/0/0/4/8/TransformersPopUp009_1389584487.jpg
I can't remember what these were but if it was a hint at upcoming figures, there is some legitimacy to it (2 of 3 Insecticons, G1 Whirl, Cosmos, Powergilde) does this mean that the combiners we'll get are Defensor and Devastator? (and based on the silhouette Superion)
It could also hint at more upcoming non combiner figures (Legends Warpath? Legends Scrounge? New Sky-Lynx? etc)
I'm probably way off, but I thought I'd share this.

Menasor and Superion for me. Deluxe cars and jets are Hasbros bread and butter, should be easier for them to cut their teeth on two gestalts where all the limbs are fairly similar before tackling the others.

An added advantage for Hasbro is cars and jets having high repaint potential. They could even deliberately make one or more of the aerialbots with a seeker remould in mind.

As for the scramble city vs stored extremities arguement. I thought it would be neat if they could design both a foot and a hand that when folded up would both have the same or very similar dimensions.
That way you could transform the extremities into the limb bots but you would also be able to swap feet and hands around if you wanted to.

Not entirely convinced of the legitimacy of these but they look great.

    Hmm...Weird.

I suppose it's possible that we would get one of everyone of thee over time. how much time, who can say.

I do remember that the artist that drew the pack in comic that came with "The battle in space" Rodimus Vs. Cyclonus 2-pack did say that EVERY bot shown in that comic had a figure in development. Of interesting note, the last two bots shown on the very last page were Arcee and G1 Devastator. And now we are all down to one......:inquisiti

Question, what's the source of your pics? This could allude to something important.

Hasbro announces upcoming combiners with silhouette of Superion. Poll shows very little fan interest in Superion. :lol

Those images are art from the Transformers Pop-Up Universe book that was released a while ago. Nothing to do with upcoming toy releases.

If we get a second one, it will a) be a decepticon team (as Hasbro has been trying to keep things even recently, team-wise) b) won't be brutiucs (not with the FOC release).

I'd also say devastator is out, due to ROTF (sadly) and Predaking (due to the rerelease). I would want these two first but if I had to guess I'd say that Mensor will be the next one we get.

The correct vote would have been "All", but I'd love Computron first.

I voted for Defensor just because I think we could use an Autobot combiner and I am honestly tired of seeing Devastator. Third party, customs, it seems like he was the only combiner that anyone remembered for the longest time.

It's not TF related, but I would absolutely love if Hasbro released an updated version of GoBots Puzzler or Monsterous! Honestly, I think their toys are better than almost all of the Hasbro combiners from the 80's.

Not sure if you were referring to my comment, or someone else. (If the latter, I apologize)

But the Energon Combiner's turned out better than the FoC Bruticus, in my opinion. I want to see updated G1 combiner's as much as anyone, as long as Has/Tak doesn't cheat on the designs like they did w/ the FoC figures.

I wish the Autobot combiners were as popular as the Decepticon ones
