Well since Animated got one, why not g1?

 

I shall appreciate the plain randomness of it. I mean the episode where Hoist,Warpath,Ramjet,Starscream and rumble were on medieval ages is fucking genious.

 

I appreciate the lax attitudes toward licencing back then.

 

I appreciate the awesome comics based on it.

 

What is there to appreciate?

I appreciate G1 for its use of humor. In my opinion, humor is much more difficult to write than even drama or action.

 

All you need is an appreciation thread for War Dawn. Greatest G1 episode ever.

Carbombya. The goddamn Socialist Democratic Federated Republic of Carbombya. I don't think that will ever not be funny to me, every time I think of it I burst out laughing.
I love the G1 cartoon, all the weirdness and animation errors are what makes it so fun to watch.

 

I appreciate the fact it's what started it all.

 

I appreciate that it was a silly 80's cartoon that I would drop everything to watch, every time.

 

I appreciate it for being the start of a great franchise.

Another good part from that episode was "SOUNDWAVE! ACTIVATE THE FORCE FIELDS!" "What Force Fields?"

 

G1, FTW.

Comics, TV, Toys - I love them all. There have been good things that followed in its wake, but I still enjoy G1 the most of all.

 

I appreciate g1 for starting it all.And its wierd animation errors really make it along with the awesome episodes that g1 produced it will always be my favorite transformers cartoon ever!!I mean come on how can you not like the episode STARSCREAM'S BRIGADE!

 

Oh and Soundwaves Awesome voice!Come on SOUNDWAVE SUPERIOR CONSTRUCTICONS INFERIOR!!

 

I enjoy the funnier episodes, like Hoist goes Hollywood or Webworld. To me, the G1 cartoon is at its best when it's satirical.
