Transformers Galaxies #5
Alex Milne art, yessssss
Deathsaurus. I’m all in.
As a Cliffjumper fan, I\'m not sure how to feel about this... just please don\'t kill him.
Is Cliffjumper considered a fan-favorite character now? Sure he's been around a long time and any fan will know who he is, but that's not the same thing.
He used to be the character you could kill off and no one would mind.
There’s a typo on he article. It says the issue comes out on the 4th May, but iTunes says it’s coming out in the 4th March.
Any who, I’m interested in the idea of Cliffjumper posing as Bumblebee. It’ll be interesting to see if things will be sailing smoothly, or go horribly wrong.
This is where the whole Pre-Autobot/Decepticon idea breaks down a bit...
Characters like Deathasaurus. Talk about a name born to be evil. Yet we are supposed to believe that he is just another "regular" bot, just forged with a name, alt mode, appearance and demeanor that pre-determines the poor bastard towards evil, but ONLY when the Autobot/Decepticon war breaks out.
Unless we just label it a Cybertronian name like Jhiaxus or Xaaron and use the other spelling that doesn't use "Death".
You do raise an interesting point especially with Beast Wars names like Rhinox, Rattrap and Cheetor though at least Animated used the name Rattletrap which could work in other series as Rattrap's pre Earth name.
This preview looks promising. Love Alex Milne's art. I like Dethsaurus calling Cliffjumper, "Clodhopper".
Deathsaurus is so handsome...fuck
They're just preparing for the inevitable delay.
I would say he is a fan favorite, people love his antics in the original cartoon (pulling giant guns out of nowhere, calling Autobots traitors at the first sign of... anything). Plus Kasem's performance for the character is endearing.
Like, most of the 1984 guys are pretty memorable but I would definitely say Cliff is up there with Jazz and Bee as favorites (funny enough they're the only three 84 dudes who survived the movie)
Interesting. It looks like Deszaras’ breast(teehee) actually comes off and turns into the tiger and the eagle.
I much prefer Deathsaurus.
And unless some other company has a ™ on that name, I'm certain a new toy would be called such as well.
And to those who think Hasbro won't use that name, Marvel Legends Deaths Head would like a word with you.
Deathsaurus?! This is a highly unexpected (yet welcome) development.
I get it, they use sonar, so they think he is Bee as sonar shows no colors... but they have eyes too!!!
Otherwise this feels like it takes place in the previous continuity. Except the glaringly Earth mode Cliffjumper. I much prefer the Scrappy Doo version personality.
Looks interesting and as with the new main series I’ve thus far found the new iIDW’s output to be superb and I’m really enjoying every issue.
Did I reef that at the bottom right though - surely I’ve got it very wrong but I thought it said release date someone early may (forget the date). Sure I’m wrong but if not that’s ridiculous send they’re desotrhijg their own stories with these crazy long delays. 2 months for episode 5 of galaxies 4 was annoying enough along with constant delays in the main title are start8ng to effect y enjoyment of what’s been some superb storytelling IMO. I wish the main title could have kept on the original fortnightly schedule...
I never felt he was someone to kill off easily. He was one of three confirmed ‘84 survivors in the original movie, and I was actually pretty peeved when he was redshirted in the Bumblebee movie and the Prime TV show.
So he should always be war born?
