So, there's a local seller near me who's had a loose G1 Inferno body for a while now and I've been thinking about grabbing it in the near future (meaning whenever the COVID-19 quarantine period is over, that is). I have a 2004 Commemorative Series Grapple reissue and, since he comes with two fists and a couple of arm-attachable missiles, it occurred to me that I could probably split the accessories across the two figures and have them both on display, but a natural question arises: are the accessories of the 2003 / 2004 Inferno / Grapple reissue compatible with the original mold?

I'm doubtful about this because I know the fists for Encore Prime have a slightly shorter diameter in the pegs that doesn't make them firmly retrocompatible with the 1980s version, and given that Commemorative Inferno / Grapple has its arm firing mechanism stripped down, it wouldn't surprise me if some minor molding differences could result in a similar lack of backwards compatibility for his fists and accessories. As such, if anyone knows and/or can check in their own copies of these figures, I'd be pretty grateful! :)

Bumping this thread because, somehow, over a year later, the seller still has the loose G1 Inferno available, and I'm still tempted to grab it but I still don't know the answer to this. Any help?
