I need help finding an old Transformers comic ad. I first saw it prior to the original marvel g1 comic being released. It was just a silhouette of all of the Autobot cars transformed into their robot modes. I have seen this picture, and I even read comics where it appeared, but I cannot find the picture of it anywhere online. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this picture?

 

Oh yeah! I remember that ad! I'll be keeping an eye on this...

 

The first time I saw it was in a Conan the Barbarian comic. It wasn't a huge add. I think the Autobots were flanked by two silhouettes of Optimus Prime on both sides.

 

I can picture the ad in my mind! Surprised to see a Google search doesn't turn it up easily! I'm pretty sure the silhouettes were recycled art from this panel in #1:

 

Yes, it most likely was, but if my memory serves me correctly, they were standing in a V pattern. The biggest bots were on each end and the remaining bots were arranged in descending order until they met in the middle forming the shape of a V. However, I could be remembering it wrong.

I'm amazed that nothing comes up either. I know that it exists, but it's obviously pretty hard to find.

That's the one! I can't believe that I was right about the Autobot being flanked by Optimus Prime on both sides.​

I wasn't quite right about the V pattern. Does anyone know who the other Autobots in the picture are?

Now if you are really skilled, (and this is not transformers related) there is a promo picture Of Han Solo and Chewbacca from 1977 where Han is pointing his laser gun right at the camera and Chewie is pointing his bowcaster right at the camera (not the similar picture of them pointing their weapons at a slightly side angle). The background is white. I can't find that one either and I have been looking for months. lol

Anyway, I have to print this one out. I bought a 4x6 frame at the dollar store and I wanted to frame that picture out and put it in it. Thanks so much.
