I'm wondering if The Fallen will appear in this game.
The Dec 1st 2012 release date is a place holder date guys. It will be pushed up a lot. Game studios are given a no later than whatever date to have a finished project. In this case they have been granted up til Dec 1st 2012 to have a finished project but if game mags are already getting inside info and images such as we have gotten and prices and reserves already being taken, should give you all a hint that the game has been in production for quite a while now and will be out a lot sooner than said. I heard a (rumor) that we can get he game by July 2012 to maybe be released with yet another TFs related endeavor. What that is yet, I cant say
Shadow, you just made me very happy.
My thoughts exactly.
And like shadow said... I'm definitely thinking a July release... It's just too much competition for Holiday season.. Like I stated earlier. Halo 4, Call of Duty: Random Huge War Remake, Gears of War 4: Active Reload Specialist and whatever else is coming out. Isn't Mass Effect 3 coming out around that time too? I think High Moon & Hasbro are smarter than that. As much as I love Halo & WFC & Mass Effect equally... FoC won't hold a candle to the other too. As unfortunate & painful as that is to say. I wish more folks would hop on WFC (for Xbox at least)... All I do now is host private escalation games (normally playing by myself) and get bored after wave 15 & quit.
Let's hope this is true. And not some BS line to sell the game.
Let us have bodies, limbs, heads and whatever else to choose from! And like stated earlier in this post a better color pallet as the one in WFC & DOTM is just plain dull...
You are still missing the point--I said nothing about "better gameplay experience," but that HMS did make it necessary for gamers to use all modes. I sited the above achievements because they highlight the fact that you need to understand how to use ALL modes and abilities of your character to get them. There is NO OTHER way. Yes, you don't have to play for rewards—you can still enjoy the game. I'm pointing out that these rewards are there to SHOW gamers what they can do in the game; how to make the game that much more exciting.
Beating the game on HARD (if you didn't do so already the first time through) or beating it again with the faction you didn't initially use makes you play the game again for a gold trophy if you so want it.
You don't sound like you're much of a gamer, and that's cool. You don't need to be. However, you seem to know very little about this game and that there are times when it is best to use both vehicle mode in robot mode together to get the best results.
No, it doesn't. If you play the game right, understanding what your character can/cannot do in this mode or that, speeds the process up.
Imagine playing Super Mario Bros. without knowing how to dash or how to use power ups. These things not only enhance your play, but speed the process up. You don't have to use them, but if you don't the game is that much harder (and you will be playing the game for hours), as you'll be spending attempt after attempt trying to figure out to get passed X or Y with your limited choices).
Is there PC? And where are you getting images?
A PC version is highly likely. The images are from a press release. Unless there's more I was unaware of?
let us hope that there's new figures. not just 3 new ones and a remold of a new one. (soundwave with laserbeak or other creatures)
Isn't the lack of PC information due to the fact that HMS doesn't make PC games? I thought another company made the DS and PC versions of HMS. Isn't there an online interview with Matt Tieger expressing the difficulties of making a PC game? I’m not exactly sure which interview it was but I think this was mentioned when DLC was launching for the console system as it was revealed that the PC version would not be getting DLC. HMS’ background is console based games, no PC games, which is why I think they outsourced it.
Gameplay should be melee focused, if done well it would be more fun to play than just dancing around shooting bullets from a distance.
I'd rather charge into a battle carrying an axe (like the intro trailer). FPS only exist now cos they're simpler to make and easier to play and make more $. The style does not suit a good transformers game. at the very least it should be like uncharted 3 combat or more like warhammer space marine or batman arkham asylum.
the hovering for vehicles was a gr8 idea. the wheels were used for fast acceleration, hovering allows them to move anywhere.
I hope this time they use more TF chars instead of all the drones. WFC looked like a world of drones where the TF chars were just making cameos.
I really hope they redesign Soundwave so he's closer to his Prime incarnation, as it's really just a fucking awesome design. Megs and Prime are getting redesigns, so it's not wholly unprecedented, I think.
No. Matt Tieger said that WFC was their first PC Game, never outsourced
Knowing Activision, They could make unexpected Announcements. Like MW3 for Wii and Spider Man Shattered Dimensions for PC.
Expect the worst but pray for the best. No PC port given the difficulties that plagued WFC.
lol no one questioned tripticon
While I do think melee features in the game need to be improved upon, I must disagree with the notion of Transformers games needing to be melee focused—every incarnation of Transformers has been about two or more factions fighting a war with weapons of all sorts and sizes in hand.
Everyone couldn’t be nor were they Nightwing. Besides, is a Street Fighter-type set up what you want to see in Transformers.
It’s already like these game. How is it not?
I concur. Though, I wouldn’t be angry if HMS did away with wheels this time around. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the wheels, being used in WFC, as hovering cars have always been our idea of the future. To see an advanced alien race of robot warriors using rubber wheels feels…archaic.
I have a feeling the drones are here to stay. Do you want to kill named characters? I would like to see more variation and more named characters, sure, but as we’re going to be blowing Cybertronians up, I’d rather they be original characters; the High Council needs some serious variation in appearance.
More Sentinel Prime like characters would be much appreciated.
Oh, okay. My bad. Well, I guess the lack of a sequel is due to their lack of knowing how to make a PC game. Sadly, poor PC sells probably sealed that formats fate.
That's because Trypticon didn't look like a dinosaur, but somenon-descript Cybertronian saurian.
Yes...That just gives us 20 days to play before Armageddon.
Can't wait to play as Wheeljack.
You've made my day, Shadow!
Grimlock with a full on Trex mode ?? I hope they give a good back story as to why.
Separate names with a comma.
