The Plot: Prologue: Cybertron is in ruins from the war...the Autobots and Decepticons leave the planet in search of energon and the ability to turn the tide of the war. Earth, a long-forgotten Cybertron colony attempt that had failed due to a fatal crash in the atmosphere of the planet, houses some of the greatest relics of Cybertron, none more coveted than Alpha Blade. The Alpha Blade was split into many smaller weapons; one of which became known to the people of Earth as Excalibur. The Decepticons reached the planet before the Autobots, but have hidden and schemed, mining energon found on the planet in secret. Now, they are starting to get ambitious again... The Setting: This is based off of Classics/Updated G1, with some influences from all universes. Other Notes: Please wait until I've talked to you (via some source) about your characters and have given you the okay before jumping in. Yes, it might take a few days to get going; but it is for the best. Also, not every character listed will be active right away. 40 Characters is a lot, and we can't utilize them all right away plot-wise.
Prologue #1: November 18th, 2012: A silence fell over the United States Senate as Major (formerly Captain) Matt Walker stood from his chair and made his way to a speaking stand. The cameras were closed, every communication in and out of the room was dark. This, after all, was a matter of national security. His broken left arm in a sling, Matt wore a full dress uniform minus hat; and with the left side of his jacket hanging loosely. As he reached for the mic, his bandaged palm tingled as he grasped the mic. His greenish-grey eyes surveyed the senators in front of him, as he felt their, as well as the many senators behind him, gaze bore into him. One, Senetor Irving Grant, spoke into the mic, "Major Walker, you have been granted the final remarks before voting begins. You have been chosen to speak for both your unit, as well as Senior CIA Agent Derek Thran and his partner Aly Rose." Reaching into his pocket, Matt pulled out some notecards, glancing at them before looking back up. "We want you to know, Major, that we all have the deepest gratitude for the efforts of your team, Agents Thran and Rose. The question this senate asks is whether this bill should be passed, and your statement will help us all to decide." Matt sat up straight in his chair, and began speaking into the mic, "Thank you, Senator Grant. I believe that you left out the names of three very important people in this case. Three teenagers experienced first encounter with the aliens classified as non-biological extraterrestrials by the government, and classified as Cybertronians by themselves." "These three teenagers: Anthony White, Aaron Flynn, and Sara Garner, were instrumental in what transpired the week of October 15th." "Noted, Major. Please continue." "When you approached me, you wanted to me to give an account of what happened. It may seem far-fetched at times, and no doubt you will have to expand your imagination to understand it, but I begin with these simple words. We are not alone in this universe. There is much more to it than meets the eye."
November 18th, 2012 San Diego Rear Admiral Terra White shifted as she observed the fleet at dock. Ever since contact had been made, things had changed dramatically. The first fight against the Decepticons and her entire battle group was forced to fight to save Pearl Harbor from Shockwave and his crazy schemes. Afterwards she ordered all ships to not speak a word of the incident to anyone if they asked; not even to their families. Reports of the battle raged on the news for weeks, but thanks to Terra's quick actions, the reports faded into history and were quickly forgotten. But her achievements were not. At only thirty, she was the youngest rear admiral ever, although she looked older thanks to her height and the scar on her left eye. The young woman also had an air of experience around her from fighting against the Decepticons for some time now. After her rapid rise through the ranks of the navy, her entire battle group was given a little more independence in combat, a very surprising fact for her. In truth, she wondered why. No battle group in the history of the entire navy was given this much leeway in battle. Still, why even question it? As long as it meant she continued to retain command of her ship, the USS George Washington, then it was fine by her.
Prologue #2: October 14th, 2012: "Come on, Sara!" Anthony White called out to Sara Garner as she closed her laptop. "Wasn't my idea to go hiking, Ant!" She replied as she got out of Aaron Flynn's car and walked over to where the two boys stood. They were in the middle of a mountainous forest in southern California. "Gotta get you away from the computer sometimes, Sara," Aaron Flynn replied. At times, Sara wanted to slap that handsome grin from his face. Anthony danced in place, "Yeah, Aaron, you could do with some exercise yourself." Aaron laughed, "Oh please, I'm just fine, thank you." ------------------------------------------------- "Autobots! Brace yourselves!" Optimus Prime stated urgently to his team of Autobots (Jetfire, Bumblebee, Arcee, Wheeljack, and Kup), as their ship began to hit the atmosphere of the planet Earth. "Bumblebee, open the flaps!" Jetfire yelled as he tried to balance out the flight rhythm of the wings and engines, to little success. Flicking all of the emergency switches, Bumblebee desperately asked, "Which one is that?!" "Oh, we are scrapped," Arcee said as she tightly held onto her seat. "Nice knowing you all," Wheeljack added with a positive lit, trying to keep light-hearted, though struggling. "This reminds me of the Dandaker Crash several years ago," Kup said as he tried to stay standing straight, "Wait, I think we were spinning in that one." Those words came as the ship nailed a large, low atmospheric sattalite, heavily damaging one of the wings of the Autobot starship and sending them into a horrible spin. "FLAPS, Bumblebee, FLAPS!" Jetfire screamed. Bumblebee found a lever underneath the main co-pilot controls and pulled it. The searing sound of panels of the ship breaking apart was heard by all of the Autobots as the panels opened across the ship where they could. "Hold on tight, Autobots. We will make this!" Optimus said, trying to keep an encouraging tone. The deployment of the flaps eased the spinning until they were level again and soon the ship was gliding through the air. "Well, the good news is, the ship will still be in decent condition," Jetfire stated. "What's the bad news?" Wheeljack asked. "We're still going to crash." "Oh, lovely!" Arcee shouted, obviously annoyed. Bumblebee looked at the altitude monitor and out the viewport, "Ground coming in 3...2...1..."
