Not a bad issue but nothing special.

Titan showdowns unless you have an amazing artist or huge format to bring them to life like for example watching Pacific rim at the cinema are pretty much destined to be anti climactic compared to how they would appear in the imagination and this is no exception though it does do as well as it can with the limited page count and artist with limited ability.

I oddly would have found it more interesting if sentinel succeeded as I thought it could have been interesting and on the nose politically to see how things would have worked with a bigot in power of cybertron

Definetly found red alert the most interesting part of this and that last message will likely prove cryptic

At a guess, the return of Onyx and others will be part of the Prime Wars Trilogy.

Also, Soundwave´s ending dialogue was heartwarming

Oh sure, I would not be surprised if he came back whatsoever. But he was technically defeated. And the story kind of met its conclusion. Minus the Titans heading towards Cybertron.

I am surprised to say that Livio's artwork was actually decent for this issue, human characters aside. On the other hand, much like Dark Cybertron this plot line feels very shoehorned in and Blackrock becoming sovereign/Alpha Trion feels forced. It's not a bad issue, it just feels cluttered somehow.

I definitely think tr has been handled better than combiner wars by a fucking longshot but certainly you can see the seams. Much, much better than cw though.

    MUCH.

I think the physical comic got delayed until next week? My LCS didn't have it.

Kinda curious if there was a mistake in this issue or, if he was there and I missed him. When the Earth team underwater is being rescued, Kup called out for Needlenose to get his brother on Sky-Byte. Was he there and I missed him, or did he mean Sky-Lynx?

Not by much though. Titans Returns if pretty much the return of Sentinel Prime and it's extremely underwhelming especially given how he is taken out and how there is not much toy pandering here (especially with Titans Fort Max).

I'm really glad it's not as toy pandering. Cw literally had rook's head Photoshopped into two scenes. The story is still clunky but it's not dependent on magical macguffin. I like how they worked in fort max as a Titan. Anyway.

We (TransMissions Podcast) checked with IDW and they confirmed to us that this will be out in paper next week, October 5th.

    I await his future figure.

I still had more fun with this than I ever did with the CW Arcs.

Huh? Are you saying you want toy pandering? CW was barely a story. TR is much better, it feels like a "Part 1" of a story that will continue into TAAO. And there is no way Sentinel is dead.

You sure about that? It's not anywhere on Diamond's shipping list for next week, and they've tended to be more accurate about this stuff than IDW in the past.

All I can go by is what they told us. They said there were shipping issues and it was put on the schedule for next week at the last minute. They also added it to the site we get our review comics from, and that's generally a good indicator that it'll be out the next week because anything there is under embargo until the Tuesday of the week of release.
