So what alt modes do we think the new terrans will have? I think one of the unreleased episode descriptions talks about Jawbreaker having a Beast mode, but i also think Nightshade would suit a Helicopter alt mode.

 

I'm more curious about what they have in store for Hash-Slinging Slasher... er Hashtag, given the next episode is set to focus on that.

Well now that's the problem with the binge watch system. They never have a date set for anything past the first batch (and even then, that doesn't happen until like a month before streaming at the best of times, worst case scenario is that they just don't announce it and quietly drop it on the platform ala Netflix half the time). Odds are it'll be sometime in 2023. It's a matter of when in 2023 that'll be.

 

One thing I noticed is that the three of them are all noticeably bigger than Twitch and Thrash, with Hashtag being the tallest. So probably bigger alts to accommodate. So gonna guess

Nightshade - Some sort of flight-based mode. Maybe a small plane since a helicopter might be too close to Twitch and Megatron.
Hashtag- Gonna guess a car maybe.

Yeah uh, I was binging it yesterday and quite enjoying it.

Wasn't a fan of it suddenly ending on a cliffhanger cuz I assumed for some reason it was just gonna be a mini-series.    

 

Yup, and it's a shame because it's the first Sonic show I've watched in this century and it's actually good.

I've seen what seems to be pics from boxart that shows Nightshade's head in their alt mode.

Very true, but it gets kind of tiring.

 

I kinda think there was a missed opportunity for an interesting / new kind of character with Nightshade. I was curious how the dubs handled the 'non-binary' thing where there's not as many gendered pronouns and at least in the Hungarian dub the character uses "we" and "us" instead of "I" and "me".

Imagine if Nightshade was a Terran that was two sparks residing in a single chassis. I'm not really a fan of sparks basically being souls but given that's basically what the modern writers do: it'd be kinda interesting to explore a body inhabited by two beings.

Sorta like Tigerhawk from Beast Wars, but instead of being a TM2 Fuzor sent by the Vok he's like Rack 'n' Ruin but without two heads. D:

At least then it'd feel a bit less like someone's fanfic self-insert.

 

Finally getting the time to sit down and watch all episodes without distractions or interruptions.

This series has a lot more charm than I was expecting, and a lot more than I got off of initial clips, and truncated watches of bits and pieces of this or that episode.

 

Looks like there was a new promo on Nick that shows us what one of the new Terrans alts will be.

Is this a serious show I can enjoy or another show for babies like Cyberverse and RID?

 

.hashtag minivan, nightshade owl/bat, jawbreaker stigimoloch.

 

So far, it's pretty light-hearted for the most part. Gets serious at times, but nowhere near as dark as the likes of Beast Wars, the live-action films, or the Netflix trilogy. Of course, that could change in the next batch of episodes, or in Season 2. It's not unheard of for a Transformers show to start off on a lighter note and get darker over time. G1, Armada, Animated, and even Cyberverse did. Maybe it'll happen again with EarthSpark.

 

This seems to line up pretty well with what some guy who claimed to work on the show said. He also mentioned some other things that seem to be true.
