This is it. I’m getting all the deluxes now. I have Megatron and Optimus. And I want Shockwave, Grimlock and Nightshade. May as well get the other two.

looks like they share some engineering with Kingdom Airazor? Judging by the chest/wings

 

Just from what I can see, and I’m very likely wrong about this, but Nightshade looks like they use the same or similar engineering to Kingdom Airazor. Just the way the, what I assume are the wings, are mounted on the back and the shape of the torso looks familiar. Just my best guess until we see the full figure.

 

I feel like the engineers just said "Fuck this, we give up" and used Airazor's engineering

 

I mean, it’s pretty solid engineering. Sure it would’ve been better if they used an original transformation scheme but I’m not complaining. Keep in mind we’re all just speculating that they use Airazor’s engineering, nothing’s been confirmed yet.

 

That’s fine. I don’t see how it’s airrazor but that’s just me. So far these deluxes have blown the Cyberverse ones out of the water

 

It was a jab at Nightshade's kibbleless design rather than Airazor's engineering.

I would have thought the translation to plastic would have done the design favours, but turns out not. They look gormless as hell.
Earthspark's a total wash for me. None of the toys are appealing other than Starscream, and that's literally just a repaint of a Cyberverse toy. Everything else is just really ugly.
