I was up to 20k, and decided I wanted to chase Blurr. And it took all 20k to do that LOL. After this weekend, I should be back over 5k but I think I'm going to hoard from now on. I've got all the ones I want and eventually 5* Metroplex will be available.

 

I do the same thing. I estimate that the 5* part will be between 30k and 50k 5* shards. I save up regardless.

I'm putting Golden Lagoons on my Blurr all weekend, using combiners to help him solo Z15, and coining his cooldowns. I might be able to get him from 61 to 63.

I need them to break apart this 5* COMBAT batch like yesterday. I have two pulls ready and a third almost ready.

Did any of you get the 4* Titan part? Our alliance did, and with all the saved up spark he is now level 19!

 

I'm wracking my brain trying to decide which of the two new batches to pull from. Is Sidetrack that good? Nightstick seems really good, too.

But the other batch has Zaur and Tricerashot. Decisions.

I did, yes. Set a new personal weekend record (46k). Congrats on saving up all that spark! Mine is not even to 16 yet.

 

Different purposes. If I had to choose, Nightstick is the best combat in the game. Top shot, even after the nerf, is probably second.

If we’re talking about defensive outposts, it doesn’t get better than Sidetrack. He’s indestructible for 15 seconds and does HIGH damage. He’s fine on offense too but I want him purely to put on Twin Twist to mess people up.

Zaur is seriously underrated by a lot. I’m not a fan of minion combats but make the exception for him. He’s good and he’s fun. I laugh at least once every battle because something will randomly blow up. Tricerashot is good but I don’t know if I’d put him at the same level as the others just because he’s limited on who he can go on.

I do really like Big Daddy too. He’s another one that will be valuable on defense. Not as much as Sidetrack but still good.

All this talk about Combats and abilities really got me examining my war squad. A lot hinges on the 3 new 5* Combats I pull, but for the first time in a long time I'm really looking at the team and how to optimize it. I was under the impression that squad cores stacked and I found out they don't. Had been running 3 bots with Special Command/Attack thinking I was getting a 21% offense boost. Whoops.

I'm experimenting with Amalgamous Prime on Snarl. He benefits from the SC/A core, has preferable attack/HP stats to other bots in my lineup, and his alt mode lasts 15 seconds. Pus he's only at 62 so with a few more levels his stats will look even better.

Other issue is that Blades was announced as having a forthcoming G1 core. I've got Alchemist on him now, but if it's a good G1 core then I guess I'll switch Alchemist to E-1. Either way, I'm saving up all my shards just in case.

 

I'm looking forward to Blades' G1 core. Dunno which one he has now though. I hope other bots that don't have a G1 core will get one. Slag, Snarl, Sludge for example. And Bumblebee, Cliffjumper and Sideswipe.

 

Blades and Warpath are the next two they said.

I have the 4* of both. Love them, especially Nightstick.

 

Yeah, it's decision time. I've got 5* Flak and 5*/4* Nightstick now, and I feel they all should be on the war team.

 

I got all Aerialbots together, with Skystriker and Cosmos. Most of them have variants of the above combats. Works fine, but no war team.
