So far I've gotten Sky Lynx to 38 and Jazz is in the cooker to 31. I now need a SBB to drop. Going to try and get Lynx to 50 before event end...

 

Someone in my alliance cracked their 5* crystal on Wednesday and pulled WJ. They already have him upgrading to level 41. Serious coinage.

We've got one alliance member ready to rage quit because they bought 100 Sky Lynx crystals and got zero 4*s of any sort. Another is wanting to quit because they don't really have time to play anymore - they coincidentally just pulled 5* Cheetor as well.

Wow that’s some shit luck. Based on their 1.8% claim he absolutely should have one won. I’d call them out.

 

He's already sent them an email and threatened to report them to the BBB. Unfortunately, the odds aren't cumulative. It sucks but that's the risk you take buying crystals.

Edit: I should mention that he has two 5* bots so he should be familiar with spending money on the game as well as the low success rates bundles have.

He's now claiming he will quit if Space Ape "doesn't fix this." He's adamant that the stated 1.8% odds are a guarantee that a 4* character will be awarded in any given pool of 100 crystals. Sorry pal, math doesn't work that way.

 

Been there and still am with Swoop (I refuse to call him Strafe). Luck in this game has been if I don't get a particular bot in the first bundle, I'm not getting it all.

 

Yeah, that’s probably how it works. It’s certainly a risk you take when throwing your money at bundles. Sadly, reporting them isn’t really going to do anything either. They will keep on doing what they do and the whales will keep on spending.

Under different circumstances, I wouldn't mind either a 5* Ultra Magnus or Springer.
It's just the other 3 options are so uninteresting to me personally, I don't want to risk the 60% chance of getting one of those instead.

Something I have been wondering about, out of curiosity, can a Prime Core be fused into another Prime Core to upgrade it's level?
And what happens to the anti-duplication mechanic if this is possible?
Does it check your inventory to find that Prime Core is not in the collection and enable it for unlocking again.

I am asking the question because the two Prime Cores (Vector Sigma, Alpha Trion) I am not interested in using, I would like to fuse them into another Prime Core with the goal of getting a massive level upgrade for those instead.
Improve the effectiveness of the ones I am using with ones I will not use, essentially.

Well, this event crashed and burned for me...

Including the 300 shards you get automatically, I ended up with a grand total of 395 shards. And my 4* crystal didn't dupe, either. Rust Dust.

So far we've had one member who has stated they are rage quitting and another who is likely to. I bet this weekend saw a fair amount of that.

I'm sitting 5 shards short of a 4*. I betmy just crystal gets it for me, and it dupes. (I don't want a dupe! )

It was a good weekend for me. I pulled the 4* Lynx, 5* jazz and then managed 905 5* shards. I likely won’t be getting anything else from the apes for a while. Lol. I’m still grinding away with Sky Lynx and have gotten him halfway to 48. Not sure I’ll quite get him to 50 but should be able to get him to 49.

 

Cheetor/BA is badass...they should try actually using him...they did buff them...I saw a lvl 41 solo zone 11...they shred a defense...those bots aren’t bad now

 

Well, to ciarify, the one who claims to be quitting is doing so because he bought 100 Sky Lynx crystals and didn't pull any 4* characters, new or dupe. He feels the stated odds represent a mathematical guarantee that is being falsely advertised. He's wrong.
