Oh God. My only mistake was delaying to buy Evac at Toys R Us until Christmas eve.

I'm serious, the shelves were EMPTY. The only things that were still there were mini-con packs.

So I went today, I wanted to get CD Red Alert...

    Still empty.

Dang. I should have just bought the one at Target instead...the sale was gonna end soon anyway...

Up until the 23rd (I didn't go out on the 24th), there were no Transformers left at Walmart except for a returned Cybertron Megatron (box was opened, twist ties were taken off, toy rattled around in the box), and a ton of Supreme Starscreams. I went today and they just had basics, the used Megatron, and still a ton of Starscreams.

The Targets here were pretty much sold out by Christmas Eve. The Toys R Us's had an occasional Super Starscream and the minicon 2 packs. Times Square Toys R Us was the only store that could keep a reasonable amount of Transformers stock on the shelves.

It's funny to look at Toys'R'Us on the 26th, and see the mountain of G1 reissues, Energon, and Alternators that hardly moved all year decimated.

It's also frustrating to go to Wal-Mart and see that lone bubble-box Tracks that tells me there's a Skids and Sunstreaker out there that isn't mine.

Went to Target Christmas Eve and found the armada repaints, Sideways and Snarl. I picked them all up bar Buzzsaw, the shelf was pretty much empty after that.

Well, you're all bloody lucky, here, the stores are basically totally sold out of TFs apart from one or two scouts....and we won't be seeing restocks untill March/April....

we get new episodes of Cybertron, but have to wait so long for the toys.....i really wanted to get me a EVAC and Red Alert before the drought....alas....i'll have to wait. But it's not bad, it means for the next 2-3 months i can focus on buying more CD's, and the odd G1 stuff that comes in my direction.

Toys R' Us Wiped out 99% with their aggressives sales. They even had other toys in the Cybertron section. Walmart down to a handful. Target is the same way. This is the best in TF sales I've seen since RID. In the RID days even some Giant Foods were selling the figures in massive numbers in their TRU isles. Cybertron is very colorful and bright in figure and package. This catches tha eye of the parent also. KB Toys in the mall still has quite a bit of Energon and Universe stuff collecting dust.

Everywhere near me got 'Powerlinx Battles' Omega Supreme and the same Energon Optimus and Megatron at £40 each.
Yup, they didnt even bother to mark them down after the, two years (i think) since energon stopped.

(This can all be explained by me being in the UK)

I got a giftcard for Toyrus and went there yesterday only to see a few Cybertron minicons and two Evac. That's it.

My ZELLERs on boxing day only had 2 Evacs, 1 Vector prime, 1 Mudflap, 3 Dark Scorponoks, 9 Megatrons, 6 Optimus primes, 1 Ransack, 3 Armourhides, 2 Brakedowns, 1 mini-con pack and too many Starscreams.

When I left there were 1 Evac, 0 Vector prime, 0 Mudflap, 3 Dark Scorponoks, 9 Megatrons, 6 Optimus primes, 1 Ransack, 2 Armourhides, 2 Brakedowns, 1 mini-con pack and too many Starscreams.

I left with Evac, Vector prime, Mudflap and Armourhide.

It looks like stuff started moving in upstate NY. All the pegs and shelves are ~30% full, as compared to the normal ~70% full. It really didn't look like a big holiday season here compared to some of the descriptions in this thread. Stockpeople seem to have spent more time putting toys back in the right spots, and less time restocking the shelves.

My Target was sold out of basics and deluxes for 1-2 weeks until a few days before xmas. At one point we had nearly 40 Voyagers on the shelf but they've nearly all sold now. I don't remember much movement for the other classes though.

TF's sold pretty well in my area, although sadly they sold so well that some low-moral jerks returned a bunch of Cybertron packages with Armada TF's stuffed inside. In one Walmart alone I saw one Undermine replaced with BW Claw Jaw, Hot Shot replaced with an Armada Demolisher and Vector Prime replaced with Energon Megatron. Pisses me off... :mad  and not for me, but for the kid who tells his Mom or Dad "I want Cybertron Hot Shot, and they show up with friggin Demolisher because the package looked right, but what do they know about Transformers aside from the name their kid told them?

Stock ran so short, that they had to drag out year old stock that was previously on clearance.

    So pretty well.
