Too much booze on the Ark?

Sentinel and his crew get overenergized and crash. 

 

Two quick things I noticed looking at the screenshots. This one, in particular.

1-That might not be the Ark...unless the Ark was made by NASA. You can see, between Prime's right arm and body, right on the bottom of the image, a NASA logo. Curiouser and curiouser.

2-You can see Prime's old ab design underneath his new one. I suspect the new abs are either a-the result of the repair from his injury in ROTF (that's right where Megatron stabbed and shot him to death) or b-a new place to keep the Matrix (unlikely but it could be a possibility.

 

I'm not believing anything as yet. The final film will speak for itself. Any scenes where their vehicle modes were filmed can easily be edited out during post-production, which is still going on by the way. The one shot in the trailer may not even make it into the final film or it could look different. My point was not to jump to conclusions based on a single brief shot in a trailer. It's not concrete proof of whether they will be or won't be in the final cut of the film.

 

Seems like the Spacebridge gets a movie treatment, figures Shockwave is in that movie...
Also the music makes this trailer twice as good. I hope this is a glimpse on the overall movie theme of DOTM....

What's going on in this shot? It looks like Sam's putting something in Bumblebee's "mouth."

 

I was actually thinking maybe it wasn't misinfo in ROTF about megatron, maybe he was not going to be in it. But after Orci and Kurtzman retuned from the strike, they put him in?

This. That's one thing that could've made RotF a lot better, in my opinion. If the Autobots had just been in robot mode, standing, walking around, etc.. It may be a single scene, and yes, the Autobots would've still just been in the background, but it's just something that you'd notice. Sitting there in vehicle mode is the equivalent of just poppin' a squat right where you at and takin' a nap.   Why do that? Let's see some robots, man.

That's be cool to see. Shockwave "driving"/piloting the device, as it it were a giant war machine, rather than a sentient character that doesn't really resemble a typical Transformer. When the device falls to the ground/is destroyed, Shockwave pops out to kick butt the old-fashioned way.  

1.) It wouldn't surprise me if that ship (be it The Ark or not...) was a coordinated situation between NASA and the Autobots. A team effort, so to speak. Cybertronian and Earth technology together. Humans decide they don't want Autobots here, Autobots respect their wishes, so let's help each other by building this ship together. Autobots leave, humans are happy. ... For now.   The ship's nose does bare a resemblance to that one toy (Was it The Ark? I can't remember. It was the playset.). And actually, it reminds me of the gunships/Dragon ship from Avatar.  

2.) Those theories make sense, a lot of sense. I just can't see them using those in the film. It's a visual change, probably nothing more. Like a new pair of clothes or a new hair style.

I have literally never laughed so loudly when in the house by myself.

 

Any possibility these are earlier models and built more like the fallen? There seems to be more gaps in the armor with red light glowing through?

 

I also think that they leave Earth in the middle of the film, then they see Earth under attack and Optimus hurdles back to Earth with the Autobots just in time, kicks butt, defeats Shockwave while Sentinel Prime defeats Megatron, the others..well, I dunno what they're doing, but then after it's all over, they ultimately decide to leave Earth because peace will never come to Earth while they linger. That's my opinion.

 

I recognized her immediately. The first thing that came to my mind was how good she looks for her age. Very streamlined looking. WHOOT WHOOT! Can I get a "FARGO" IN DA HOUSE!

 

HA! I guess Prime said, "There'll be no more stabbing ME in the gut...for ANY reason!"

 

the truck ppl are saying is sentinel may not actually be him but it may be the same one he scans, when watching the trailer it has flashing lights and looks way too similar to the truck sentinel becomes
