I saw a few of these today at Walmart, but instead of a pack of coupons on the shelf, the employees taped one coupon a piece to a bunch of DOTM figures, I think just about half of the toys had a coupon. I think they ether ran out, or people took some. It looked like all of the expensive toys had coupons ($15+) and less than half of the HA Basics and Deluxe's had coupons.
I went to a walmart to ask about these coupons and the employees had no idea what I was talking about. I just happened upon a stack in the middle of the aisle in the store upside down never the less. Have been buying up a ton of stuff ever since LMAO. They work on Kre-O , Deluxe DOTM + Generations , and Clearanced Voyager for / Cyberverse packs including exclusives and the Ark Play set/ So far I have picked up DOTM Deluxe Target Jazz Target Arcee Target Space Case Walmart Sideswipe Walmart Cyberverse Legions Bumblebee / Soundwave / Rodimus Starscream deluxe Topspin deluxe Cyberverse Ark Playset Voyager Skyhammer Voyager Megatron Generations WFC Soundwave WFC Megatron Scourge Warpath Wheeljack Red Alert Thundercracker Kre-O Optimus Prime Bumblebee
We've been talking about these coupons for a week or so in the deals thread in the toy section... I still haven't seen them at any store around here.
They're good for getting Cyberverse stuff. You can get commanders for about $3, and two legions for the price of one. Only US as far as I know. They're manufacturers coupons, so Canada might get them, too.
Cashiers must not be paying much attention to these coupons, or store computers aren't set up right for them, since they clearly say "$5 off total purchase of $5.99 or more", not "$5 off each item of $5.99 or more" and the fine print mentions a limit of one coupon per item(s) purchased, yet people are obviously still able to use multiple coupons on a single purchase. Not that I'm complaining, of course, just seems like someone messed up on the implementation of these.
I did read the entire back of the cuopon and figured that I could only get a figure per cuopon. But my wife said to try and use all of them at the same time and "wallah" it worked. I save some good money. I got about 10 voayer size bots and about 25 deluxe size bots. I actually saved about $220.00 and yes, I found more in Bakersfield CA. East side Walmart. They do expire on the 16th of this month. I will go shopping this friday after payday.
Did you save any coupons for other customers? I take some from different stores but I make sure some are still on the shelf. I also point out the great deal to other customers browsing the area.
My K-mart had a pack of these underneath the DOTM figs so I snagged a few of them. I'm not really into the movie bots but maybe if I see one or two I like I'll pick them up.
I'm set on Generations and have zero interest in Kre-o. I'll hafta hit up my Target in the next couple of days, they still have the exclusive Voyager Starscream for $17.99. Maybe at $12.99 I'll bite.
Well on the back it says "limit one coupon per item", and not one per purchase. And all the cashiers are doing is scanning the bar code and the computer does the rest. I went out today and picked up a few from Walmart & K-Mart and bought DLX Crankcase, Sideswipe & Ratchet. Which pretty much finishes out the Deluxes that I wanted. Will probably breakdown and buy Leader SP tomorrow from Target since they are already a few dollars cheaper there And hopefully Target gets this Leadfoot/Twintwist set before the 16th so I can get that too for a few dollars cheaper!
