Why no Wii?

Same question here, why no Nintendo system support at all?

 

Because the Wii U does not use the same processor architecture as the other consoles, so porting to it much more difficult. This is why the Wii never got direct ports of WFC and FOC, but instead got completely different games.

 

Bayonetta 1 and 2, Wonderful 101, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Vanquish.

 

I saw the leaked photo yesterday, but to hear that it's being done by PLATINUM GAMES just has me in shock. This is going to be the best Transformers game to ever come out, knowing their pedigree - Bayonetta, Vanquished, Legend of Korra. Oh my god, I'm just super pumped!!! These guys were the producers and creatives that worked on the original Devil May Cry, Okami, Viewtiful Joe, and Resident Evil 2.

Oh my god. FINALLY. And it's the G1 era too. This is going to be amazing!!!!!!! So hype!

 

Taking a break from Transformers to build up my video game library and THIS happens? Dammit Hasbro you grabbed my wallet again!!

 

Platinum Games!!! If this plays anything like Vanquish, this will be the greatest Transformers game ever made.

 

Bayonetta 1 and 2, Metal Gear Rising Revengence, Vanquish, Mad World, Viewtiful Joe, Ōkami, God Hand, The Wonderful 101, Anarchy Reigns, etc.

They do fast/fun combat better then anyone (IMO).

 

Besides buying a console I think I will get foc to tide me over   I honestly believed we would never see this day. Gonna go out on a limb and predict that sales from this will lead to more g1 games  

 

Oh ok, now I feel better. I was skeptical that this would be an "app-type" of game rather than a full-on action one and it seems like it's it good hands.

 

Absolutely hated Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising, and I'm a massive metal gear fan. I tried a demo of W101 and hated that too. In short I can't stand Platinum Games but this is G1 and the game I've dreamed of since the 80's. I don't like their style but they're one of the best developers in the business so I'm happy it's in safe hands. So happy it's being released on PS4 and October 6th is only a few months away.

 

BTW gang , Steve Blum did a perfect G1 Latta Starscream at SacAnime when he announced that he got the role of Starscream for Prime. He knows who Starscream is and what he sounds like, and was directed to make the character different for Prime. Dunno what they'll do, but I'm just saying Blum can do it.

 

I was already sold on the game but knowing that they have people that worked on Okami makes me feel much more at ease that this game wont be a complete disaster.

 

I think the only poorly received game they've done was their recent Korra game, which was a cel shaded downloadable arcade licensed game, so... Let's hope it won't be like that >___> . But everything else they've done has been pretty stellar, over the top action stuff

This actually looks really cool! I'm am loving the cel-shading and all the bight colours. I liked WfC and the others games but at times the colours were just so murky. This looks so clean.

However, I keep expecting to see a Dull Surprise Face.

 

It is listed for PS3 and XBOX 360 to release on Deceember 31 2015

 

This is the secret Platinum game, right?

 

Mostly likely, though since this info was leaked we don't have official confirmation yet.

 

Its coming out October 6th on all platforms.
