The figure itself.....is.....so so....wish he had a right arm....he could make good guards

The torso on up to the head...is very good...that right arm kinda kills it...

Any who...still not sold on the figure but I do really dig the transformation. That is pretty cool.

 

Amazingly, as i said in the video, as i was filming it...the dang thing grew on me even more. I at first was blah about the hand...cause as i said, i like my Transformers having two hands dammit haha but as it just went on and on...i found myself liking it. Very odd indeed

 

Well when you had the radar thing as a shield it made more sense....to have the mace like hand

Wow, parts falling off all over the place... I still like the look of the plane though. Liking the colors too, it's like a neo-Cybertron Jetfire.

Now that I've seen the review,I can see all that's right and wrong on the toy
Let's see,he has a VERY strange color for the Jet mode,no right hand,wierd gimpy looking arms,HUGE shin guards,and plain,skinny legs for the bad. The only things that are really good are that the Jet mode has little to no kibble,Flails on Transformers are cool(though not at the cost of the hand  ),and that he has a neat looking head with decent light piping. Pass.

 

What a peculiar figure. His face looks like it's from the Prime cartoon, and as you say the body is pretty retro. Much better than the hasbro pictures suggested (as almost always). That arm is kinda meh, but I like it overall.

I excuse the lankiness because it allows for a very sleek, kibble free altmode, which they rarely accomplish in planeformers.

The green colour almost suggests Irish Airliner...

 

Gives me a beast wars vibe

usually I'd say that's a good thing, but specifically it reminds me of the worst parts of beast wars where the limbs were made out of a tail or even the whole rear end of an animal and the rest of the robot had terrible proportions.

The fin on the head also pushes the beast wars image.

I just can't convince myself to buy a figure with an arm like that any more.

I thought I'd dislike this guy cause of the right arm, but watching the review (sands sound, I just want to see the toy, not hear opinions) has made me want it I think. Why?

The arm that looked crappy is actually a Mace, which combined with his shield as a shield gives him a rather neat Gladiator vibe.

He looks like he'd be great fighting Terradive and Space Case for Lord Straxus' amusement. So I want him for that.

I have this guy on order from HTS. Can't wait to get him. I will probably pick up a couple more to make some guards out of.
