Technically you could always pirate it.
i honestly am curious if japanese fans get sick of them turning every TF series into a joke?
I sure would be.
Dude Season 2 and 3 are way better than season 1. I didn't like Season 1 very much until the end and a few of the flashbacks on Cybertron. Most of it was just Bumblebee trying to get his memory back which wasn't that exciting to me. Season 2 starts out great with a large cast, and the Megatron/Starscream interactions are some of the best you will ever see.
Ask the Toku community how that turned out.
Yeah, I’ll make sure to check it out. I also heard the show comes up with a lot of original and cool ideas too.
i have wondered that for years since i first saw what they did to BW, like i really want to know what a japanese fan that was originally exposed to the dub version thinks of it compared to the original
oh yeah, S2 and 3 are ripe with them
It's not like there's any other choice for us. And we're still getting subs, they're just not being promoted on socials I think.
Takara likely abandoned Cyberverse. It sounds strange coming from me but its actually a nice move. I\'m actually getting tired of the current \"mythology\" with the \"same\" characters. It like theres nothing new.
No trailer or actual date of Kingdom so far.
If you are coming to Cyberverse for the first time, I recommend watching it in the "Macadam Order":
Watch 1st: Season 2
Watch 2nd: Season 1
Watch 3rd: Season 3
Is Cyberverse good? It seems very watered down, and very generic.
On Netflix? I thought I\'d only need Tubi and Hulu for the rest of my life.
Season 1 and most of 2 is quite bad... the first half of season 3 is a huge upgrade and really quite good, but by the end of it its back to being underdeveloped and mediocre.
Glad these are going on netflix. Cartoon network is lowsy at giving a transformers series proper airtime, so a couple of one off specials would probably go unannounced at some random time and get missed by most fans.
Not sure why you would consider Season 1 or 2 "quite bad", or the later part of Season 3 to be "underdeveloped and mediocre".
Personally, I found Season 1 to have a slow plot development pace, which appears to have been intentional to allow for more character moments. It's an on-ramp for kids not as accustomed to faster-paced media if they are coming from Rescue Bots or other show aimed at younger viewers. At the same time, it manages to market toys while simultaneously demonstrating skills like friendship, empathy, and honesty for children to emulate. Season 1 is uniquely lovely and successful in doing everything it needed to do to set the franchise up to succeed.
Season 2 was more plot-driven, yet still managed to pull off numerous charming moments with inventive scenarios young children could imagine being a part of. The colors, lines, and animation POP to bring the characters to life. The complexity of the stories and the speed of pacing was increased, to match the expectations that most kids joined the show at Season 1 and had aged up as we got to Season 2.
Season 3 is the best yet... I have so much more to say. But I'm also tired and going to go to bed. I'll just say that Cyberverse may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for me, it's the best animated TF media since G1. I think it's a show with a ton of charm and gets better with each subsequent viewing.
I wonder if he's referring to characters or actors.
You've got some weird standards if you think the G1 Cartoon is on a higher bar than Beast Wars, Animated or Prime.
No love lost there CN's actively murdered enough shows I liked. My only worry is if they'll get to put the show on Amazon later so I can have all the seasons in one place.
