Oh go, Shockwave! What have they done to you?
I\'m getting him and Grimlock if I can find them for a decent price.

it is a tricky topic really, it depends on the children, it depends what environment they grew up in as well, all my friends children and my child like to sit down and play with toys for hours, we sit them down and let them play couch multiplayer games, we can get them to sit down for hours playing games like monopoly, it might just be the children i know are the oddity because of how they where raised, or it could be the other way around.

though i do admit some of the 10 min tv shows are good bannicula is a good example of a cartoon that lasts only 10 minutes but with out it only being 10 minutes the story plots would get very dry very quickly, didnt looney tunes and animaics use to run multiple eps in the one eps as well.

oh a thought sorry about rambling , the adult vs child thing, children dont need story plots to be that in depth and well, where the longer adult stories allows them to flush out the characters more and allow for better story telling, though there is a diffrence e.g blacklightning, arrow(does it what), flash drags its feet where stranger things and game of thrones tend not to

Starscream looks very G2 Skyquake inspired!

    Shockwave is good

No, I'm looking at the alt mode and I see no evidence of a knee joint, just the legs flat up against the underside.
Notice how the tail fins are on his feet.

To be honest I think it’s harder to write a 10 min episode since you have to cram so much in. With 20 minutes you can put it in and include any character development needed.

I would not be opposed to that concept used for a CHUG Shockwave, but i'd like to see a voyager where his legs split to make the 4 spider legs (kind of like how Cybertron Deluxe First Aid's legs split apart for vehicle mode) and his to arms combined to make more of a howitzer/cannon on top with his traditional gun barrel (maybe becoming a backpack in some manner) instead of the single hand-gun.

I like Shockwave's angry eyeball. Shockwave is Shattered Glass Mike Wazowski.

Most of these toys do not look that great. Design wise, there is a lot in common with the current RID 3-5 step transformation figures. And that warrior Starscream - did they forget to paint it?

Optimus looks very much like his current design from IDW, as of First Strike

I\'ll probs pick up Shockwave, but in my opinion, the rest of these look absolutely awful.

Clearly not a series designed with adult collectors in mind. I'm glad the kids have something, but it would be really nice if Hasbro would get back on the Masterpiece train for us adults. It's no wonder why my collection has expended to 3P.

Shockwave looks just a bit off from fitting in with a CHUG display.

Is that a Machine Wars Starscream homage I see there?

Ultra class Starscream's alt looks a little better to me, even with those goofy-sized pods.

    I’m guessing the Ultimate-Class is their Leader-Class?

This is utter garbage. My dad, who isn't a Transformers fan, took one look at this, and proclaimed it to be awful. With toy sales in decline, surely Hasbro doesn't think this is the way to arrest the slide? Well, obviously they do. I'm rather upset.

Well evergreen is technically a separate thing (though Cyberverse designs are basically just slightly stylised versions of evergreens), and this is the main line to go with the tv series, which is always aimed primarily at kids rather than collectors; collectors already have Generations and the upcoming Studio Series, as well as Masterpiece, so they do kind of have to target something towards children... However, packaging leaks hint that there could well be a series of Generations styled evergreen products, separate from the ongoing Generations line, so maybe we’ll see those at Toy Fair.

    Haha my feelings exactly.

Garbage the end is here. What is wrong with Hasbro I don\'t see myself buying these for my collection. They expect us to buy Dollar Store toys for a premium price point.
