At least this starscream looks a little better than that piece of crap we got in potp
However, despite my comment about Cyberverse being G1 based, these toys are growing on me, especially that warrior class Starscream and Shockwave. Kinda sad, though, that ultra class Bee looks better than the warrior class version.
they do have the attention spans, the issue is, its easier to write a 10 min ep then a 22 min ep because you dont have to worry about as much content and can get straight to the point, i have had no issues getting children to watch older cartoons and long movies (never ending story) people can blame children of this era all they want but those who have children know all to well that they can sit down for full length cartoons
OH WATCH OUT STARSCREAM IS GOING FULL MACROSS UP IN HERE!!!
Other non-TF toy lines, though, have their characters’ figures in multiple sizes, it’s nothing unusual. It gives children and parents more options, so they can buy an $8 Megatron rather than missing out on the character because they can’t afford the larger $30 figure.
I wouldn’t say generic so much as closer to G1 than mot non-Generations lines over the last couple of decades. I thought fans would be pleased we’re getting a main tv series in a neo-G1 style. The 11 minute length of each episode had me worried more than the designs.
after taking sometime looking at the designs this should work very well as a toy box toy for keeping childrens grubby hands off my chug collection, i do this with legends toys but children always want a few bigger toys in the toy box
I might end up getting all the Starscreams in this line, he's cool in the warrior class and hilarious in the others!
I know I\'ve said this a lot already, but damn, Shockwave looks sooooo good. In fact, I think the alt-mode looks pretty cool. I\'m a little confused by what they mean by \"power attacks from the show\", but I actually think that that\'s a legitimately cool gimmick. Also, did anyone notice that there seems to be a trigger or some sort on Shockwave\'s cannon in alt mode?
Warrior Bee and Optimus look so disappointing. How do they screw up the extremely simple designs of those characters? I guess I am going to wait to see what happens with the Authentics main line for Bumblebee
Why does it look like Warrior Starscream has no knees?
WTF is with that Bumblebee?
So far only Shockwave and Ultimate Optimus look good.
Someone has got to make a classics Scrapmetal from him.
It seems as though the Action Attackers are not from the Bumblebee movie line but rather from Cyberverse.
can megatron move his arms?
Tell that to the people producing and writing this stuff. And from personal experience, I agree; a lot of them don't have the attention spans. Maybe its the kids I know?
Also, since when did content become anathema to TV producers and writers? I thought content was a hot commodity. Strange that TV is dueling Netflix and the like by lowering the amount of overall content they produce. Adult shows get longer and kid shows get shorter.
I’m kinda disappointed to be honest, I thought this was gonna be more collected based with some evergreen designs. I love those designs, specifically starscream and Optimus. So overall I’m probably not gonna get anything.
Warrior starscream has knee joints and a possible knee swivel I think. I'm looking at the way the legs look like they are rotated sideways in the altmode and you can see the bottom/side of a cylinder behind the knee cap armor.
I really like what they did with Shockwave.
No elbows on Megatron either.
I don't mind the style or the simple transformations or even the massive amount of kibble, I just don't think that a line full of what appears to be up-scaled Legion/Legend figures is going to sell well. Don't get me wrong, I like the Legion/Legend scaled toys and have all of the Generations Cyber Series figures, but these do look kinda cheap for an animated series main line of toys.
It seems as if each new main animation toy line we get away from Prime, the quality of the line suffers more and more.
