The entire series has a dark undercurrent but, unlike some other Transformers shows that feel tired/exhausted/apologetic for existing, it doesn't overwhelm the general feeling that Cyberverse is just happy to be there and is ready to try a few new ideas.

 

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I thought Megatron's extended beating Starscream to death was particularly dark for a kid's show.

 

I thought of something and I don't know if its already been said. but if Tarn is here could we prehaps here the Empyrean Suite when he appears or as he taunts Autobots?

 

I wonder if David Kaye's gonna voice Tarn... he kinda gets typecast as Megatron likers (TFA Lugnut, TFP Hardshell) so I wonder if the same will go for Tarn as well. Plus his voice fits like a glove.

 

Considering the cyberverse cast is non union, it's not likely

WFC had more swearing and sexual innuendo than Cyberverse, but Cyberverse was MUCH SCARIER.

Slipstream is murdered by Bludgeon as she's trying to tell Windblade about the seekers because he and Soundwave assume sh'es a traitor

We see the history of the autobot decepticon war and how multiple peace talks have collapsed

Megatron and Optimus sit down and have a real conversation

Pretty much all actions have consequences

Megatron's reaction to Starscream in general

Clobber and Rodimus becoming friends

Soundwave and Rodimus becoming friends, which permanently makes Soundwave more affable to Autobots. He doesn't change sides but he stops trying to murder them on sight.

Shadowstriker saves Windblade and also ends up like Soundwave in the "not murder on sight" category

A fragile but stable truce which lasts for half of season 3 and involves partitioning the planet.

Megatron and Optimus both legitimately sticking by the truce, even if it is underminded by their own own personalities at times.

Megatron's heroic maybe death

Final scene features a crowd of Autobots celebrating Windblade's return but also includes the most prominent surviving Decepticons

Cyberverse is very good.

 

Annoyingly only seen up to season 2 as not got the rest on netflix, it was shown on pop in the UK but didnt have the channel at the time :/ i need to find season 3 by the sounds of it.

Oh, you do. Season 1 was slow and kiddified in a bad way (but still wasn't the worst TF cartoon I've seen). Season 2 really picked up, and this was where it got both good and inventive.

Season 3 was just bonkers, and took season 2 and turned it up to 11 - I really think that if you haven't seen it, you really haven't watched Cyberverse.

Sounds very much like you're going to have to find a Cyberverse torrent.

 

YT is now all region on it so ive been smashing through it......they really have gone mental and im only 7 episodes in!
