They were able to get away with a very, very bloodthirsty Steeljaw without losing the young audience rating.

I\'d say a Tarn that makes it clear that he\'s sadistic and enjoying this in the same way Steeljaw did wouldn\'t be too bad.

without Megatron X, one of them replaces Megatron and deems himself "Tarn", determined to subjugate the Cyberverse version of Cybertron. I'm still hoping this ends with Hot Rod becoming Rodimus Prime.

 

My dream would be that every line of dialogue for Tarn be an excerpt from Gilbert Gottfried Reads 50 Shades of Grey.

I have to say that, out of all the Hot Rods ever - this one deserves the Matrix for once.

cyberverse has already dipped its toe in the dark elements pool; starscream basically became a murderous zealot against life and individuality and sucked the life out of his whole pack of seeker followers on screen.

 

Tarn can fit as long as they don't lean to heavily on what the DJD is known for.

 

and in season 1 blurr death was kinda dark due to a cosmic rust infected came to velocitron and caused a genocide on purpose (kinda like a suicidal bomber terrorist)

 

Why would Tarn be too brutal for a kids show anyways? Personality-wise I sorta agree, but altmode-wise he is the least torture device themed and could just function as a mere tank

Those \"Perfect Decepticons\" from the S3 finale may have used his design but i\'m happy the man himself will be showing up.
Also it\'s kinda funny how everyone is discussing the Tarn episode but not the Immobiliser one. Mainly cos it\'s not as interesting in all honesty.
We already knew the other Dinobots were gonna show up but now we know which specific episode it\'ll be.

I hope Tarn kills a bunch of Autobots in this to show how powerful he is.

I hope the Immobilizer is invented by Wheeljack. Sounds cool if the entire planet is frozen except for the Dinobots who have to save it, I'm hoping the other Dinobots are all not very smart in both modes to make saving Cybertron more entertaining. But I have a feeling they will all be smart in robot mode and dumb in dino mode like Grimlock.

Also will Cybertron being Immobilized be an accident for a light hearted comedy (like Wheeljack's hyper-fuel episode), or is there going to be a villain to fight?

 

I think it's possible Tarn comes chasing a defector. In the universe Megatron X comes from (with essentially an army of Tarn clones), the Decepticons won. They likely destroyed all the Autobots. Maybe Shockwave or some other mad Decepticon scientist (didn't we hear Jihaxus was being updated in Generations?) tries or tried to take on Megatron, and opens a gateway to the current universe Cyberverse takes place in to escape. Someone figures out how to follow him, and sends Tarn after him. Tarn is utterly shocked to meet Autobots when he arrives.

I think this is plausible, and even keeps Tarn in his classic role of hunting Decepticon dissidents.

 

He wouldn't if he's not written to be. My kid has a Little Golden Book about the Avengers fighting Thanos, who's in possession of all 6 infinity stones. They managed to tell a story kids will enjoy without him using it to commit genocide.
