Seeing that alt. mode I see why Hasbro changed Clobber’s name. At this point it would’ve been approaching name-slap territory...that said lockdown still has about as much in common with every other lockdown as shockblast does with every other shockwave...

 

These are basically glorified action masters. 

My main annoyance is that there are some great characters here but the gimmicks and crappy toy representation puts a lot of people off. 

Like for instance Clobber looks amazing but that rubbish gimmick puts me right off. 

The wheeljack with a moustache is awesome but the figure is rubbish. Its a shame.

I'm just shocked by how shit that shock wave looks. clobber, bumble bee and hot rod look... passable as far as a toy id buy for kid goes. i actually kind dig the idea of a toy that turns from BumbleBee to Gold Bug

 

I think that Ultimate Shockwave looks super rad with that helmet/armor on. I hope it fits as good on the deluxe class, coming out.  

Clobber is a *MUST. HAVE.* Hoping for a same size class/build, Lockdown, too..

Whats really cool about the cartoon accurate Cyberverse "Deluxe Class" line, is in the toon they're all around the same size. So a deluxe class line is perfect for the entire cast!

From my observation(s), kids are happy if the toy has front to back shoulder movement to pose his arms & if it has front to back hip movement, they will use it for kicking but wont notice too much if it doesn't. But i never seen kid complain unless the toy has zero movement.

Head elbows knees ankles never matter & dont get used if toy has them. But shoulders are a must!

Hasbro probably wanted to find a spot for the character thinking it would be a fan fave character, & wouldn't be able to release a deluxe class Clobber in 2020, so they either went all out OR more likely took a deluxe they had 3D file on & added armor to it. Voila!

From what i was reading Hasbro opted to change the name last minute bc it was Lugnut originally. But nothing about

Well technically it IS Lugnut. But since Hasbro didnt want to name a female "Lugnut", they opted to change her name to Clobber. The scripts still say Lugnut, according to Hasbro. Clobber is a dope name though, imo!

I think of her as Lugnuts sister or, twin protoform if you will.

I like how there energon armor is unique to each characters style (hot rod has his pipes, bumblebee has his honeycomb thing going...)

 

The energon armor is part of each figure and springs on from the back.

Gimmick is most likely removable, right? Def at least customable to do such id say.

Yup, that's DEFINITELY where the smoke stacks go on a truck. Okay, all jokes aside what is this alt-mode? Even those alt-modes that represent "space nothings" (thing siege Soundwave and Shockwave) look more like something than this disaster.
