iTunes updated with this episode as well. So the price for the season was for the entire season. For those who thought it was for the first 10 episodes lol
Meh, the bit with Teletraan X learning the controls felt a bit forced/stretched, but aside for that I thought this was fine. Definitely a cool cliffhanger/ending scene. And I think I'm in love with that black and green Seeker color scheme. It looks absolutely gorgeous.
this episode started so abruptly i felt like i missed an episode
...those - were a lot of boob-missiles...
I'm gonna be honest here....but I'm getting sick of seeing mainly Seekers every episode.
Start giving us some other baddies please.
That was like, 9 minutes of just fighting.
Can't wait for a new TF show.
Not a bad episode, I appreciate how action-packed it was even if the Teletraan X stuff was a little annoying and it felt a little rushed at the end. I LOVE that black and neon green seeker, I need a seeker repaint of him stat! I love that we get the classic Autobot base and hey, Grimlock finally flips up his battle mask in the last 2 seconds even though he\'s been in several battles since being woken up and should have been using it the entire time! I\'m not salty. Okay maybe a little. Hopefully Wheeljack will actually use his battle mask at some point. The ending definitely sets up an epic battle, I look forward to seeing it play out.
Ok this needed to be the first episode of the show.
...cyberverse season one essentially set up the same premise as the 1984 ongoing series, post-pilot-miniseries: hopefully we'll get similarly ensemble-based storytelling going forward, ideally with a comparable sweep of characters and settings, but based on what we've seen so far i remain skeptical that boulder media have the budget for that scope of production...
...what are the odds of megatron's flagship crashing into the deep ocean for season two?..
...i find it interesting that hasbro structured this first season in parallel with the live-action bumblebee movie; coupled with the IDW reboot they're clearly making a second attempt at media alignment across the franchise, hopefully with more-coherent results this time around...
...hopefully they'll restore bumblebee's voice soon; that's really all that remains to provide these new continuities a best-of-franchise kit of parts for building a new ongoing legacy, one that with careful stewardship won't need to reboot every half-generation...
So was this the last episode of the season then?
Awesome final scene.
Was really happy to see Arcee. Cool to see Chromia and Greenlight in the final group shot as well.
Man, season two better be as good as this was. It better not devolve into one-off non-plots that go nowhere, or anything G1 accurate like that.
Optimus and the gang are awake. It felt a tad anticlimactic to me, but still enjoyed it.
This weird half genius half brute Grimlock is also growing on me lol.
Mostly I just wish the episodes were longer though. It bums me out that mainstream cartoons are increasingly just little 10 minute shorts.
That said, they are doing a lot with the time they have.
Man, that was a lot of stasis pods! I hope that means we'll get a more expansive cast in season 2
The episode is decent. Still not crazy with Teletraan X. I am really hoping that either Grimlock or someone fix Teletraan X after the battle so he can stop calling Windblade “Non Crew”. It was a little funny at first, but it doesn’t take long before it gets annoying. Likewise, hoping that Bumblebee’s voice gets fixed. Won’t be surprised if he still has it next season.
I like that the rest of the crew is finally awake. So hoping Season 2 is better than Season 1. Just so we can see them interact with each other. Both during the battle and off the battlefield. Not sure about the other lines, but I like the delivery of the last line from Optimus as it, at least, continues to show he is trying to improve on his version of Prime.
I agree with ya. It feels a little limiting (to me, at least). Like there isn’t enough time to world build and develop the characters while having a little breathing room. And sometimes feels like they’re still wasting time like some scenes with Teletraan X. Not every cartoon needs to be a 10 minute episode.
Yep. First run has ended. Now awaiting season 2.
How long until season two hits?
Sometime in 2019. I don't think we've gotten any specifics beyond that.
