She really does look better without the buttflap...even moreso for the ER figure. Nice!

 

I had made a quick run to Meijers and they had Cyberverse Arcee.

I was looking forward to this figure, though I dropped it from my Amazon Pre-order as I was concerned about my income and cut all non-essential pre-orders at the time, but in person, I picked it up. I figured this would be a fine figure and it certainly doesn't disappoint. I don't recall the last time I had a figure with such tight joints! I even had to use pliers to get the ankle rockers to start working and had to spend some time working the joint to get them loose enough to do anything with them by hand and even now it's an effort.

I think the instructions leave out a point on the backpack, there's a peg on the windshield that perfectly fits into a slot on her back and locks the whole backpack into position. It also minimizes it's appearance from the front, I took some quick pictures:

So I noticed her chest piece can slightly unclip for some reason. It gives a tiny bit more clearance for her to roll in car mode. Weird though.

 

Despite the borderline unacceptable amount of kibble on this figure, I find that I'm really really enjoying her. The posability is great and the sculpt and paintwork have so much personality! Makes the ER one look boring af by comparison. The alt mode is cute and fun, too, and it really doesn't hurt that I got her for $13 on clearance at target! I would have paid full price but I never saw her on any store shelf before yesterday.

 

I had a slightly broke generations Arcee around. Had to try something.

Finally found one!
First impression is good. All joints are tight. Particularly her ankle tilt. Seriously, there is no need for an ankle tilt to be THAT tight. Immediately did the mod to free bit more room for shoulder movement and to compress the backpack a bit further.
I have no plan on completing maccadam anyway, so i give his hammer to arcee.

 

I'm a bit heartbroken that my Arcee already has discolored plastic. her light pink plastic as crappy and cheap as it is has already turned an Orange Sherbet color.

like...WTF???

Wasn't exposed to Sunlight, any sort of Smoke or anything.

Even cheap 99 cent store KO's don't yellow this quickly.

If I was a betting man, I'd say all of them look like mine does at this point. Even if its MIB.
Everybody's Arcee ages the same. So, it stands to reason they all look like this now:

 

Please. Can people post some updated photos of their Arcee figs?

Heck mine was even stored in a dark place.

Been out on the table since I got it pretty much.

 

Just took mine out of storage, I don't notice anything

 

So weird. I don't understand at all why mine changed like it did.  

 

Mine has been in alt mode on the shelf for... months. It has changed color slighty, but not to your extreme. The left pic was just taken. The right was when I first got it. I might make the comparison again tomorrow morning when I can use natural light like the original pic.


Don't you live in the desert southwest? Maybe it's the heat.

 

Mine is pretty discolored too. She’s only been on a shelf for a little while, was in storage for most of the time I’ve had her.

 

Yeah i live in phx az. I wonder. I do maintain a 76 degree temp. In my apt at all times. Ive had m8ne for a little over a year. Now. Such a mysterious thing to happen.

 

I'm very late to the Cyberverse line as a whole and I've managed to get these 3 so far and I'm loving them so much. Arcee is my favorite. I hope to continue collecting the line, it's turned into one of my favorite TF cartoons. I wish I was into it three years ago haha.

 

I got mine a few days ago. I really did not pay any attention to her colours (I thought it was a lighting issue in the store), but after seeing pictures in this thread I think my sample also has a slight discolouration. Oh, well...

Nevertheless she is an excellent toy. WAY better than Earthrise/Kingdom Arcee in my book. I wish we could get a premium finish toy of her.

 

Not trying to resurrect a dead thread, but has anyone gotten the new repackaged Arcee Deluxe? Just curious if the plastic seems improved/maybe immune to the discoloration issue? Mine stays in a plastic bin with the other Cyberverse deluxes, and it's still kind of pink, but it's distinctly changed color very slightly toward yellow, and if the new one's better, I'm contemplating getting a replacement.
