As far as customs go, Scout Megatron could be turned into this guy pretty easily: Demus - Transformers Wiki Plus the lack of an alt-mode actually helps.

I caved. Long story short, Slipstream will be too, well, short. Wouldn't be an awful stand-in but the Activator is roughly a head taller.

has anyone noticed that cyberverse starscream/evergreen starscream seems to use the same base design as the old thrilling 30 legends starscream?

Picked up the ultra class bumblebee. My 4yo son loves it so much. It's a cool looking figure and is perfect for young fans

Does anyone know how to "degimmick" ultra class prime. I like the design, but that gimmick pops out all the time.

Anyone that own any (if they're out yet) how big are ultra class figures? Voyager? Leader? Somewhere in between?

Ultras are about the size of voyagers. Kinda like a voyager plus.

You're thinking ultimate. Not ultra. The ultra figs are bumblebee, grimlock, and starscream. My son has bee.

No problem I actually had to look up the size class after I saw your post since I thought I was wrong. :)

After reading some of the complaints earlier in the thread, it's nice to see someone who gets it. This line isn't for us - it's meant to turn kids into the next generation of us!

I'm not sure if I'll get any Cyberverse figures personally but they look perfect for the intended audience.

i think the disconnect is, at least for me, back in the days of beast wars figures had plenty of gimmicks loaded into them but the gimmicks didnt casue them to lose simple articulation like knees and individual leg movement. it feels like the newer lines are doing the kids a disservice kind of

I don't think so. When my son was 3, I got him a few 1-step changers. From there he moved on to the combiner force ultra bee. Than the new bee figure. I feel like it's gradually getting him to bigger and better things in the sense of gimmicks and steps.

thats a fair point, im not saying kids dont enjoy them, heck i grew up with 5poa star wars haha, it just feels like the design principles have shifted since the 90s where everyone had basic articulation and gimmicks

Really enjoying the look of this Grimlock. Looks nice as desktop piece.

Wish warrior Bee could lower his arm tho. Other than that Cyberverse is what it is...a kids toy. And I’m ok with that.

Got Ultra Shockwave today and I'm really impressed with him. Hes decently articulated and is a good Voyager size. The main negatives for me are that the cannon arm has no elbow bend and the alt mode is a little weak, as much as I like spider tanks.

The collector store in the next town from me has them for preorder. Wondering if I should get one. If it's not worth it, I won't bother.

I’m on the fence with Prime. A third party kit could turn that figure into something cool.

I paid $20 for him and I definitely don't regret it. Wouldn't pay any more than that, though.
