I'll admit I've been down on this line, but the Scraplet is tons of fun!

Thanks for the info. And for the pic showing the underside of the vehicle mode. I'd assumed the taillights on the knees were real, like the Elite Armor Bee. I'm pretty impressed with EA Bee. He's got upper arm and thigh swivels, which I think is a first for Cyberverse. I can't wholeheartedly recommend him, since the Deluxe has ankle and wrist articulation, better paint, and doesn't come with a battleship to jack up the price. But, having bought EA on clearance for around normal Warrior price, he's pretty great.

Spotted the Quintesson pack for the first time over the weekend at my local Target. Will be looking for Clobber, but sadly there's no Meijer in my immediate area.

Anyone have any guesses on when they think the last 4 deluxes in the new line will release? A few months?

So I spotted Ultra Class Alpha Trion in stores for 10.00 and couldn’t resist. I finally have an Alpha Trion. I love the sculpt itself, but I’ll definitely customize him with a paint job and better articulation, this will eliminate his alt mode but that’s the worse part of this figure anyway.

After the news that Clobber was found at Meijer yesterday, I went to check my local Meijer today. Lo and behold......

I grabbed the only one on the shelf. Despite some loose hip joints (which a little floor polish could fix), she is fairly impressive.
    23BDFE21-437E-45B3-A2F3-0158CDDB7A4E.jpeg
The Energon armor gimmick is kinda fun, but I love how it folds up nicely into her backpack. It does not really interfere with either mode at all like previous Cyberverse gimmicks (which for the most part really turned me off this line). This particular gimmick is actually pretty cool, but I still prefer her basic bot mode.

At least it doesn’t hinder her poseability.

Honestly, at first I thought this might’ve been a hovertank. According to TFWiki though, she’s a Cybertronian bomber craft. Given that there’s no wheels on the bottom, that makes more sense I guess. I’m good with it either way. I like the turret cannon and the canopy section.

I really love her deep purple color and the neon green is nice and bright, but not obnoxiously so, which I’m glad for. The overall color scheme with the black and grey is very pleasing. Clobber’s transformation is also very fun and intuitive, it’s simplistically complex for a Voyager Cyberverse figure.

Only real complaint I have is that there’s no head articulation, so you have to be creative with your picture angles. The hollowness in the limbs (which is a hallmark of this line) doesn’t really bother me. Clobber holds a pose nicely though after you fiddle with the hips enough (which I will fix). Overall, I really like Clobber. I’ve been excited at the possibility of new Transformer characters lately and Clobber is a welcome addition. Starting with the Power of The Spark figures, I think this line is starting to do a turnaround for the better and Clobber, to me, is proof of that. I’m debating on getting the Build-a-Figure Deluxes, but I was very excited about Clobber and I’m glad I found her.

Sadly there's no Meijer anywhere near me in the greater St. Louis area. About a year ago when I made a road trip to a wrestling show in Springfield, IL, I made enough time to swing by their Meijer to nab Ultra Class Slipstream.

I think I might be done with Cyberverse, sadly. I bought into the Ultra Class because of the scale and cartoon G1 looks, even at the crazy UK price point. But the time between releases, the fact they've only gotten better now* just as I've gone WFC-mad, and that I don't like the energon gimmick... I could see some of them going to my nephew and me just keeping whatever has a truly cool design like Grimlock and Starscream. I could afford to continue but the Ultra Class doesn't work for me now with Deluxe finally becoming what it should have always been but at crazy money in UK terms, and Ultra Class still looking a little shaky in my terms. It's sad.

Also I think season 2 has been a total mess compared to it's predecessor. It's got all the right elements but no idea where it's taking them.

    * Alpha Trion and Prowl now look like absolute throwbacks and didn't even reach the UK to my knowledge.

Is it wrong that I want Ramjet because I think his crayon head is hilarious? I mean, I've never been into the Coneheads before, but I actually like him.

Ok, so according to Hasbro, this.......
    C406A409-7E1F-47C6-ABFB-6434E0278DA6.jpeg
......is Clobber’s official alt mode. Looks like a tank, right? This would be in keeping with her moniker and description as a ‘hulking bruiser.’

Well, according to the TFWiki, this......
    9B881546-B7D7-44B5-8C8A-92120B8853D3.jpeg
.....is a Cybertronian bomber craft. Yeah...., this is supposed to be a flying vehicle. Ok?! Still looks more like a tank. Which is perfectly fine. I like this alt mode and I like to think of it as a tank. But, I also like the idea of Clobber being a Cybertronian bomber.

So what if I told you this........
    A7E814B7-C891-48B0-9D30-6551D10539BA.jpeg
    ......................turns into this........................

    774F978E-39D9-4682-822B-C6ED4D3B5959.jpeg
Now this looks a bit more aerodynamic, don’t you think?
    7D0E2DD6-0C89-447C-B10C-4EC8928CD6FC.jpeg
The new Cyberverse figures are so much more articulated that they can allow for fan modes and I love it. I just made Clobber a triple-changer. Now I will concede that there is a tiny bit of parts forming.
    75CC3345-CE39-4D25-AE02-6C8A08186980.jpeg
Her pincers are on a thick mushroom peg. Mine are very tight, but they can be carefully twisted out and then her arms need to be turned at the bicep swivel. This will allow for her arms to fold flush against the rear of the alt mode. Then the pincers can be stored in the hollow forearms and act as aft thrusters, at least I like to pretend they are. How about that? I just made an argument FOR hollowness, IMO. Not saying it’s always good, but it’s very fortuitous in this instance.

So yeah, Clobber can be a tank and a Cybertronian bomber very nicely. Have fun with that, because I know I am.

Sorry, just a little ambiguous there. Was my post too silly? Does the fan mode look awkward? Just being a bit playful is all. I know it’s still not the most streamlined of flying aircraft, but it works well in hand I think and gives Clobber more play value.

So what places currently sell Cyberverse figures?

I'm interested in buying the Maccadam BAF wave but Amazon doesn't have it and both Hasbro Pulse & Walmart don't sell Cyberverse figures. The nearest Target is an hour drive from here.
