wow, umm grimlock.... when did he get so smart. He\'s always so dumb in every series, but the comics.

 

A little disappointed that Optimus isn\'t voiced by Peter Cullen but this new voice for Optimus sounds pretty damn good. 

 

This trailer looks great ... I am much more excited for the show now . Will keep checking the TV guide until I can set a series link .
Loving the design of Optimus ( reminds me more of Animated than G1 ) . Soundwave and Bee look great too . 
Grimlocks voice is much less annoying than in RID2 and i think i could get used to the new voices of Megatron and Optimus .
This looks much better than the first two clips they released .

Yeah, doesn't seem like they used Cullen or Welker this time around. They can't do them forever, I guess. I'm ok with that. TFP is a great send-off for Welker's Megatron, and RID was a nice ride into the sunset for Cullen's Optimus.

It's a shame Hasbro didn't stick with an aligned continuity that would've put those characters to rest in order to make way for new ones. Megatron is my favorite TF, but we're approaching 40 yrs of him vs Optimus.

 

This could be good. I'll give it a chance. The toys are still inexcusable though, in my opinion, but I don't have to buy them.

 

I seem to recall Rodimus and Galvatron going at it for a bit... 

Not to mention in Japan where a whole bunch of other leaders took over in g1.

 

Finally, I'm feeling better about this. But, the more I see them, the more Windblade's puppet mouth lines look weird.

Ok after seeing that trailer I'm much more excited about this. The toys might be underwhelming but the show itself seems promising.

 

I hate to say it, but I think this show is going to be a pass for me. I went from being not very excited, to hopeful, to not very excited again. The animation is smoother than RID, but not really anything spectacular or new. In some ways I think I actually like RID's overall visual style better. I liked the Cyberverse designs in the promo stills, but they're just not doing it for me when animated (except for Bee, I do love his design).

I also don't think the voice acting sounds that good, the inflections kind of remind me of an amateur stop-motion (or the Combiner Wars series). And no Peter Cullen? They'd better have a good explanation for that. I could accept Cullen not wanting to come back because of his age, but I hope it's not just to cut corners on the budget. There seems to be a lot of that going on here (also Windblade's disappearing wings from the other clip).

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't look horrible and I'm sure it will be fine for kids (and even plenty of fans), but it just doesn't look like something I care to devote time to. Honestly, the latter seasons of RID were kind of a chore for me to get through at times, and this looks less interesting and impressive than even that. If this show gets really good several seasons in, maybe I'll check it out.

 

Ok i soo hate to say it. But i liked the trailer. Got a Big G1 fell when i saw the ark. I'm going to watch it. I was going to pass.

 

Looks fun and worthy of checking out a few episodes to see if I'll really like it. If this continues the G1 homages with the "neo-G1" flavor, I'm in. I'm definitely digging the villainous female seekers. And Windblade's line about calling up OP was funny (to me anyway!) Right now not a fan of "smart" Grimlock but I'll see if I eventually get used to it.

He was supposed to sound brutish but someone misread the memo.

 

I LOVE that they got some new voice talent in. And I like the idea of smart (in robot form) Grimlock, but I think the voice could stand to be a little deeper. Something like clancy Brown, or Keith David. This voice I can't see going all "ME GRIMLOCK SMASH" when he gets to dino mode. Maybe they can add effects on though

 

Its a shame the toyline is such crap, a few I might get but the show itself looks different and I say that in the best way possible. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Yeah, if the show is good hopefully some 3rd parties start making some better toys, because I love the designs

 

Yeah if I like the show I would love to have a few figures from it especially any characters I like that stand out from the rest, I already plan on getting both the Warrior & Ultra Shockwave as well as Scout Slipstream & Warrior Windblade but other then that most of them are misses rather then hits. Thankfully distribution is so garbage I won't be tempted by any of the others as they'll never see the light of day on the peg
