hi I noticed some featured transformer eBay items on the first page and noticed that a toy my son has that is in very good shape is going for over $200 on eBay. It is called the Hasbro 80921 Transformers Cybertron Ultra Scourge. It is a three headed dragon with a yellow and orange color pattern. Like I said it is in really good condition, he bought it with his own money a few years ago at a garage sale. I didn't know what it was until,I saw the deception symbol,on it and fired it was from one of the series I didn't watch.
So is this true? This toy is worth something! I don't usually follow the toys. Can someone tell me more about it?

To be honest I'm surprised it's so expensive... is that a Buy it now price? I say that because he was Wave 1 and usually they hit the shops in plentiful numbers, it's usually the end of series stuff (and thus produced in smaller numbers) that goes up in price. Maybe he was shortpacked?

I would have thought the Cryo repaint would be worth more?

Most of the listing that show up are generic and high priced. They barely go for over $30.

Like I said, generic bullshit listing.
    Don't buy into it.

Filter the ebay search for what the item has recently sold for. It should help you more accurately figure out what people are willing to pay for it.

Some sellers have *really* unrealistic expectations of what a toy is worth.

I do know that at the time it was a very well received figure, so maybe that helps (and it's from a time that TF's were made from quality materials). People were praising this Scourge on the forums and in reviews.

Which so suprised me after I got it. I don't think I've sold off a figure that quickly. God, I hated that figure and everything about it.

    Ahhhhh Scourge.

His lack of wrist swivels hurt an otherwise great mold.

LOL, in other words $200 for a Cybertron Scourge is just someone chancing it.

An 11 year old figure with a detachable tail makes it hard to find a complete one.
