Starscream...did something useful...for once?

 

Why did I feel like something like this was going to happen

 

Well, I like to think I'm good at keeping my characters consistent. Betraying the Decepticons really isn't in character for my "reformed" Starscream. I was hoping it would throw up a red flag for people that my Starscream seemed to be acting like his classic self.

One of them did, anyway ...  

 

It did throw up some red flags. I just didn't say anything.

 

He's trying to change his reputation, but I thought it would be interesting to give him an opportunity to put it to positive use.

 

Starscream doing something useful. I suppose it's better than Hot Rod doing something useful  

 

Challenge accepted.  

Although my Rodimus Prime isn't the dumbass that a lot of Hot Rods are ...

Yes, that was Prime Megatron. For a moment, he "overlapped" with his G1/Crossroads counterpart.

As for Cyclonus, he just made a really bad call. One that will have consequences.

 

Consider me very interested.

Author's note: I'd originally intended to show Starscream in Sky Lynx's claws, but I couldn't get him in securely, even with a wire. So I had to settle for suggesting it in dialogue.

 

Good comic. I also never realized blastoff had such huge feet...
