Thanks. It's basically a plot device to allow me to use whatever toys and characters I feel like.

I have no plans to change Megatron's design at the moment - I like the inherent versatility of the triple-changer form, and I wasn't impressed by Siege at all. The brief flicker of Siege in that one scene was just another reality encroaching, not foreshadowing. Still, if I find another version I prefer, he could have another refit. Although I'd be more likely to give him a jet form.

I don't have Shockwave or Omega, so they're not likely to appear. At least the G1 incarnations aren't ... As for Devastator, he's already made a cameo appearance, and Hook showed up in an early chapter. I'm just using the G1 toys for the Constructicons.

These are two fantastic updates. I'm really enjoying this story and I think these two updates contain some of your best photography as well. Your use of Scourge is brilliant as well.

Thank you. Scourge has always been one of my favorite baddies, so I want to make him a credible threat for both sides.

Will we be seeing Kingdom Characters (Primal, BW Megatron, the teased Galvatron, Cyclonus, etc) or Studio Series 86 (Kup, Blurr, Hot Rod, Jazz, Scourge, etc) or will there be more obscure characters (Sideways.....though hopefully not the Cross Dimensional Arms Dealer he is in older comics) popping up?

At the moment I have no plans to change characters I'm already featuring to their latest toys, though that could change as I get them. For the most part, I've selected the versions I use because they fit what I want to do with the character, and a new toy wouldn't necessarily be better for that.

Dimensional doppelgängers, OTOH, would be fair game, although I'm kind of trying to avoid using near duplicates. You'll notice I use Armada Cyclonus, Knightverse Bumblebee etc. rather than other G1 incarnations.

As for BW characters ... they're not off the table, since I just revealed BM Tankor as one of Scourge's recruits, but at the moment I have no plans.

Why does Grimlock always get a sword to the neck? :p

Because he won't listen otherwise! :p

Of course, I was trying to make this a dark reflection of that scene in AOE, so naturally it ends with a sword to the neck.

Been meaning to ask (and I’m not sure if was asked earlier), what figure are yours using for Prime? It seems to transform, so I don’t think it’s one of the Model Kits (unless those have panels that flip open to simulate transformation, and you have the corresponding vehicles), so my guess is it’s a 3rd Party Figure , like Stiker Manus, the PE Magnus addd on kits, the add on kits for God Ginrai or other 3rd Party figures out now.......

I agree, and I wish they would use him as such in the different forms of media. I don't even care if they call him Nemesis Prime, either. As much as I am a Megatron fan, I would definitely go for Scourage/Nemesis as an alternative to him.

Perfect Effect DX-10 Jetpower Revive, I believe is the figure being used for Optimus Prime.

Yup. Jetpower Revive. Probably the most expressive Prime figure I've ever owned.

I'd love for Scourge to be used more often. But not as "Nemesis Prime" - Nemesis Prime is just a black repaint. Scourge is a character.

We definitely agree on this one, and I should've been a little more specific. I would still prefer he be called Scourge, but in reality, Hasbro is going to be Hasbro. The mammoth Nemesis from Universe is Scourge in my headcannon, and if I'm able to find the new Netflix one, he will be Scourge as well. If it meant replacing Megatron as the usual villain, I wouldn't mind them using the Nemesis name, just so we could have someone familiar, yet different lead the Decepticons for a change.

The Siege Optimus does work well as Scourge, even with just the minor redeco I did for mine. I'd intended the black detailing to be easily reversible, but he's staying that way now! I don't know why, but the mold just works better as an evil Optimus than Optimus himself.

To me, the truck mode looks more like something out of Mad Max, than it does a truck from Cybertron. The only missing things would be some rust, sand, some spikes and a ton of barbed wire. As for the robot mode, looking at him side by side with Earthrise toy, the Siege version definitely looks "meatier" and bulkier, which to me, is almost always a trademark of the Decepticons. The headsculpt also seems a bit angry, but that seems to get washed out with the Earthrise version and the lack of silver paint around his eyes. It also doesn't hurt to wave that battle axe around either.

Whoooooaaaa! Caught up! This comic is bananas! Loving the plot and dialogue a lot! The action is no slouch! I like how they made Bay Grimlock submit. He submitted for way less in the movie so his behaviour is in character. Go, go, go!
