I've been working on a very similar product line, for the last year. -darn- Would have been cool if I could have released it first. It would have been "completely original", now they'll just say I'm copying Hasbro.
I knew this was coming...but in my version, they actually transform and are not part or build formers. Here's to hoping that I am right!
I get what you are saying here. I bought two KreO sets and regretted it. Never bought Bot Shots. Only bought one Robot Heroes set. Never wanted FABs or Robot Replicas. But you know, I'll snag a Blitzwing and try it out. At least he's supposed to have those modes. Worst case, he goes to the "Jhiaxus' hideous experiments" shelf. Good thing there are literally hundreds of those, with no end in sight! Also "fans" dig Prime too, by and large.
Still not sure what to think of these... but they look more interesting to me than Kreo, and least so far as being a customizing resource. zmog

First they, Hasbro, calls us all "geeks" for collecting their product. They then take a big old shit on us as fans who have been begging for a Blitzwing for decades by turning the ONLY other Blitzwing since like 84 into a freaking Legoformer. On top of all of this they released Trailblazer as a legends class without a Hoist repaint to boot. Deluxe at the very least with a proper repaint. They gave Swerve a repaint....yay...anyone else excited about that? Is it that theyre trying to run their company into the ground or they truly believe that because of slave labor and the sheer volume of trash they pump into a store front that they cant fail? I mean really. They dont respect us as customers or as people. Screw Hasbro.
My line of thought: Wheeljack outranks Ironhide in terms of popularity and coverage by Hasbro now, by the look of things. While Ironhide is falling behind, in the post-movie trilogy era, Wheeljack is instead coming to the foreground since, Prime's lack of techno-wizardry aside, he's a non-combatant and they're beginning to reappear in the cartoons and such. Hopefully Perceptor is amongst the $10 toys.
The head sculpts are friggin awesome. I think I'll be getting these. Can we get a legit g1 Megatron though in the Generations line or masterpiece. C'mon son!
