One would think that a promo material like this one should be spammed into the internet everywhere to have as many people watching it as it is humanly possible.

Pretty much an equivalent of how the G1 cartoon was freakin everywhere at its heyday.

And look what's around to this day. After a three decades.

But that's okay. I spend more on Takara anyway.

That's what i'm saying: look at the Star Wars movie.
If you stuff your marketing into peoples faces giving them no pause, they will spend that cash, because it's everywhere, it's the talk of the town, so everybody wants to be part of it.

As long as Hasbro follows it with her NuRID mold on the shelves.
The Generations one should be retooled (extensively!) the last time into Nautica and after this killed with fire and never revisited again.

Given the obscurity and ludicrously small audience of the chosen distribution for the series, I'm now down to expecting something more along the lines of Cyber Missions than RID in terms of production value.

Nah. Nautica should be a new figure.
Budget usually has nothing to do with the quality. It's usually how passionate the animators are with the animation. Kyoto Animation in Japan has a fairly modest budget, yet they pump out gorgeous visuals.

    Then there's Food Fight...which has a budget of 45 million...so yeah.

Also even the programs used have nothing to do with it. Look up Wakfu, the french cartoon series. It's made entirely in Flash, and it looks amazing.

Can't see a reason for having a cable when I can subscribe to streaming services. More and more of them is available worldwide with every year.
I dislike not being able to watch things when I want (or rather, when I can). Things like scheduled broadcasts are simply obsolete these days.

And yeah, Hasbro should put more things on Netflix. Since this January the service is available almost everywhere.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation about Go90 in this thread.

I downloaded the Go90 app (via the Google Play store) onto my android device for the first time this morning.

From what I can tell, the entire thing is free. I am able to watch any of the videos from all of the categories on the app:

    "The Daily Awesome"
"Only on Go90" (Street Fighter: Resurrection was one of the things I watched)
    Live Soccer
    Vamos 90
    Live Sports
    Live Music
    Best of the Web
    Entertainment
    Lifestyle
    Geek
    Comedy
    News

All it asks is that you to register an email, username, and password and there doesn't appear to be any pay restrictions at all.

I´m curious. And I don´t mind Windblade being used as the "flagship" character.

grr things cost more than they used too...kids use curse words...get off ma lawn!!

things change grampa. technology is always moving forward. embrace it don't be scared of it. things like newspapers and network tv are dying off and paid streaming is the way to go. it's so you don't have to sit through shit tv you don't want to watch to see what you're interested in.

machinima has been releasing alot of content on go90 but it almost always hits youtube soon after. machinima is just one of those content creators that jumped on go90 as an incentive.

it will be on youtube ya whiners....

Well, I have Verizon cell service and have still never heard of go90. I can't say the method of distribution leaves me with much faith that the series will be any good unless they also plan to eventually release the series on Blu-ray, DVD, or make them available for download on a service that is readily available to everyone. Fingers crossed it will be surprisingly good. The Transformers series equivalent to GI Joe Resolute would be awesome.
