The best episode so far but still nothing to write home about.

Why was Megatron exiled and fighting other Decepticons?

Why is Prime battle damaged already. Why is Megatron's faction symbol half scratched off.

    etc etc etc.

You have a spark Megatron, not a heart.

    this episode was pretty good

I don't get hung up on continuity but Megatron hating Starscream didn't change

That is the problem we all have.

The Combiners competent aren't characters they're just drones and they all job.

prime and megatron fought a final duel, prime won, ending the war but both were banished, since they were the standard bearers for the old war. (explained somewhat in episode 2 and the Optimus prelude)

He and Windblade just went at it last episode.

    no idea.

Anyway, yeah, not happy about Megatron's role in this. If the autobots "won", he should have stood trial. Doesn't make sense that they would just exile a former warlord. Voice acting was better.

He was already banged up before he walked up to her. And when they "went at it", she didn't touch him even once.

No way am I watching again to check, but I think Prime was already banged up with the same cracks and everything in Megatron's flashback to their fight however many years ago.

I love how the thread title says "Season 1" as if:

1.) Chopping one 40-minute episode into pieces somehow makes the one episode a "season,"

    and

2.) They're going to sink money into another one after this, with the bashing it's taking.

I see Machinima took Hasbro's "one demand: Combiners must fight" and went overboard with it: there's pointless fighting in every episode. Alltough i can understand some of it in this episode.
But Yeah, best episode yet, best dialogue in any case.
And i like how Windblade gets a little more personality than "angry emo badass", though she kicked Megs's butt but good :lol
But again, despite being called combiner wars this show has done very little with the titular characters, kind of how the Transformers or the Decepticons mainly have been portrayed as alien threats to humanity devoid of character in the Bay movies.

Don't understand how Hasbro hit an home run with GI Joe resolute and now we have this...

Hope it gets better because right now is not doing anything for me and i was quite anxious for this.

I'll agree, I found Megatron much more likable than anybody we've seen so far. But I don't take it as an indication that the series is about to get any better.

I "love" how Windblade and Prime are pinning all the blame on Starscream for the combiner problem. That was certainly his shtick in the comics, but in this show he wants to be cautious and study the Enigma, smh.

It looks like Energon character models in Beast Wars environment(s) and Prime sounds like his lines came out of a text-to-speech generator.

    But Megatron is just great!
