Soundwave:his quote doesn't seem like something he'd say in the show.
"LASERBEAK can acoustically hack any computer." does that mean he can hack computers with the power of ROCK!?

Swoop: Probably my favorite of the dinobots.

I agree, Swoop's robot mode is cool. It reminds me of Skydive from Beast Machines, who was always a favourite of mine.

The bios themselves sound cool, though what I can't wait to see is the Dinobots in action on the show.

 

I love the look of Soundwave, I think I will have to pick him up, he looks really cool.

 

The snarl thing is the first really disappointing thing about animated so far. That and if they actually have to say Autobot Grimlock when they refer to ol' Grimmy in the show.

 

Autobot Grimlock?!?! That Snarl/Slag thing is also really annoying considering they are completely messing up the homage.

What's wrong this time? Grimlock's been a consistent character in the TF series. Why on Earth would Hasbro's lose his name? And if they can name him Autobot Grimlock, why not name his squat companion Autobot Slag?

Cool. Grimlock is as strong as Megatron, thats definetly interesting, and cool at the same time. Snarl is basically the Hulk. Swoop's ball and chain weapon is going to be interesting to see, and hopefully will make it for the toy version of him that we're more than likely going to be getting. As for the name of Snarl instead of Slag. It honestly doesn't bother me. In the end it's just a name on the packaging as far as the toy is concidered, and we fans can call him anything we want to.

Ok, I am really curious to see how and where a Swoop figure (if it happens, likely imo) is going to store a ball and chain.

Nice bios. Wish they could update all of the profiles with voice clips, considering all of them have spoken at least once, I think (did Snarl and Swoop talk yet?).

I think "Autobot Grimlock" is a mistake. Ratchet is listed as "Ratchet", and we know he's trademarked as "Autobot Ratchet".

They don't say "Autobot Ratchet", and they didn't say "Autobot Grimlock" when he was introduced.

I don't think the whole Slag/Snarl thing is a 'trademark' issue. I think it has to do with the carrying over the term "Slag" back in Beast Wars as a curse word more than anything else.

This kinda got 'confirmed' in the Last episode (of the animated) where Lugnut muttered 'slag' just before he and Blitzwing got blown away.

Again - just a theory ^_^
