    Was just looking at the crossover figures on ebay. And..... wow. The prices have went up considerably since back in the day. Used to they had no value. Now some are pushing $100. Thats ridiculous.

    I don't think he's making anything up, per se. I just think he (or his source, perhaps) is misremembering. There WAS a problem with the rights to 2007-movie molds vis-a-vis Paramount. But only those molds. Nothing else from the movie franchise, so far as I'm aware.

    Whoa, that does look pretty awesome as a retool of Jetfire! I wonder if Hasbro can crossover with other Hasbro properties with their own figures. Especially with GI Joe.

    I think they might do a crossover figure with Power Rangers first, one that turns into the Rad Bug.

    I am kinda MEH on this design, likely because it is based on the movie Jetfire design which I just never liked, bendy knees and gigantic head and very little of the alt mode showing in robot mode. I think I\'ll pass. I liked the X-Men animated show as a kid but it was never in my top 10 like Batman TAS or Gargoyles.

    Funnily enough, the head, legs, and kibble are all retooled from Jetfire. He even transforms differently and has wildly different proportions. Everything you complained about is not actually carried over from Jetfire.
