They should repaint TR Repugnus in that green deco and do the small TR repugnus in the red, yellow, and blue decos. Id buy that.

None of these is THE Repugnus. In the show the monsterbots had a whole segregated society where the robot mode ones lived like ancient Romans and the monster mode ones raided them for energon. Unable to transform neither side knew they were the same species.

Interesting how much Teknicus and Affluous looked like G1 Groove in robot mode, color-wise.

I don't think Repugnus ever had any resemblance to roaches. Not unless in your country roaches walk on two legs, have mouths, and giant mandibles.  
If anything he always reminded me of an Umber Hulk. Especially the old 1E/2E art.

 

If I had a Target nearby and saw this one the shelf I'd probably get this. Yes they look like KOs but thats part of the charm. Curious to see the back of the box, and if the little ones transform.

At first I just assumed that since the beast mode of Repugnus is much shorter than the robot mode, they are the same mold.

 

Yeah, ditto here. They're definitely transformable, look at the feet-- they're clearly in their "short" version, as they basically bend back at the knee. The knees are their alt mode feet, and you can see how they can rotate out to form the longer robot mode legs.
