After a better look at her rocket pods, I could see SS BB Arcee with a new head and repainted as Betty (as) The Rocketeer with a dieselpunk Robotech Cyclone alt mode.

 

Ss wave 2 leaders are usually released during the 3rd wave during the fall/late summer but if toy fair does happen we might see them in February

ROTB will have its own toyline, but it'll probably be similar to BB, gimmicky and child oriented. SS ROTB starts rolling out in 2023 I believe?

Its not that complex of a design, for the movies. Like you said, the hardest part would be the waist-shoulder things, which I'm sure Hasbro will figure something out for, or just do what the HTFD version did and have them just be unattached spikes. For the alt mode, he can either just not transform (defeats the purpose, but its understandable in this case, and we'd all still buy it anyway), or do the classic "pretzel it up and call it a Cybertronian jet."

let's just PRAY that studio series 86 arcee doesn't have a giant shellforming backpack

 

The HFTD Fallen was the original ROTF Fallen, which I own, and those spikes could attach, but in the process they render the arms immobile. The secondary arms are in fact why I'm skeptical about them being able to do it since those tendrils move with the arms, and Fallen moves his arms around a lot in the film. They would need to be on some kind of piston system which still wouldn't work since the secondary 'shoulders' connect to the arms below the elbow, so all that would do is seriously hamper articulation.

And in terms of transformation, it would be accurate if he didn't since the whole point of the Seekers was to be the first Transformers. Fallen himself is not a Transformer.

So, really, that boils down to a large figure at leader pricepoint (so $60 at least) that doesn't transform and likely will have shitty arms in order to stay true to Studio Series being 'accurate' to the source material. Fallen's design is entirely form over function and it really hurts being able to make a half-decent toy out of him. Didn't help the original Voyager is kind of shit with the pointless spring-loaded feet and inarticulate head.

 

Whose gonna tell him?
