Man, this sucks. Have you considered moving to another league? And how many EPs did you make this event? We could need a good player BTW.

 

My last battle of the Event was against 2 Slugs and 2 Overkills. Wow. I'm running 4 Elites and I still didn't even come close to killing a single one of his units.

 

Random thoughts running through my head after this event:

• WTF!? How come none of the reward bots are leveled up like in previous events? They're all Level 1!  
• Hey! Snaptrap is just a mirror image of Grimlock!  
• I remember the days when the individual bots of the combiner were actually useful (e.g., Bruticus). Only Snaptrap looks like a keeper now that you need Elites to survive PvP  
• Yippee! Got my gold "refund" just like PA_Kid! But still have a prevailing sense of foreboding (e.g., "what else will they screw up next?") given the Gold Card snafu  

Oh well... at least I have 1 day off to live normally before the next event starts!  

 

I find that me being a free to play player have yet to experience any real issues with this game yet, and I have been playing since day 1. Granted since I am free to play I am playing a little more casual and less intense than dudes in the top of the standings.

 

PM PA_Kid, we could use another consistent player. We're usually top 200, but didn't have it in us to spend to get there this time. This whole event was rather demotivating. In fact, I think this was the first event we didn't get the league prize.

 

Any rumors for what the next event will be?

 

If they were smart it would be botcon figures.

I wonder how they would handle Oilmaster.

 

They'd make it so every time he transforms the game crashes.

 

I can't even begin to imagine how much the top solo player spent in order to track up over 21 million event points. Other than bragging rights, what benefit could there possibly be?

 

Maybe they get fully maxed bot prizes? Still not worth it, but one can only speculate...

 

Its been speculated that they may be DeNA employees. I think a couple events ago, I estimated it at around $1000. Really depends on if it is a legit person and how lucky they are on the bridge. Of course, that assumed 4 overbites etc, otherwise the amount of time it would take to get that many points is absurd.

 

The other (somewhat plausible) conspiracy theory floating about is that they are hackers who have successfully found a way to cheat their gold, etc. without being detected by DeNA  

 

This is new, even for DeNA.

 

That's like a complete victory...you eliminated the one negative aspect to winning PVP battles.

 

But my team somehow needs repairing after that, so I don't think it's that good.

 

Okay, yeah that's bad.

 

I got a boat load of gold after the event, I am assuming to make up for the Gold Card Snafu. I got like 800 right after the event, and then for some reason when I logged back in an hour later, I got another 700

 

Anybody else got the free energon timer stuck on zero?

It is still giving the energon out but the clock isn't moving
