Like most people, I have a life, job, family, and bills so I cannot use all of my money for these bs events where you have to spend lots of money to finish in a certain rank to get characters. DeNA really needs to get their heads out of their backsides and make characters available to all.

Well actually they don't. They're about making money and turning a profit. The good/bad here is that they now have licensed games including this and eventually nintendo so they're running into established fandoms. We can be a fickle bunch and let's face it a lot of us spend a lot on this hobby. I wonder though if this game can really survive without the fandom. It's so specific to Generations so far and Beast Wars which all skew older that I don't know how this game survives without the fans. Do a lot of casual non-tf fans play this game? So in the short-term they don't have to give us anything, but I wonder if in the long term this game has a shorter shelf life than DeNa would normally expect because they didn't.

Yeah, but I don't have that App that was causing the conflict installed. Searching the FB page for the game, it seems a few people are suffering the same issue though after the update for the game. :/

Bruticus is pretty easily beatable. It's the same strategy for any other combiner: Kill the two paired with it then go for the combiner. I've face Bruticus several times in bot battles so far with Superion, Primal and Jackpot, I've even won against him with Superion, JFII and Thundercracker. Also, if you use the shield all II, that adds 7 hp which takes Superion to 206, which closes the hp gap a bit.

 

2 days to recruit swindle -- yikes.

 

Still getting a ton of the "timeout, match forfeit" errors. Really knocks the wind out of my sails.

 

Seems like every time I play a live player they are using Superion

 

So there has to be a way that high level players are purposely tanking their PVP rankings prior to events in order to feast on low level players come event time...........because everytime I face a live player (my PVP rank is like 1525 or something) -- I'm facing guys that are Command Tier (the pink-ish icon) who have maxed out high end characters and I don't stand a chance.

I have won maybe 3 PVP battles so far this event and they were against BOT teams.

Point is, there is no way that someone with those maxed out characters has the same PVP rank as me unless they tank it on purpose.

Developers need to fix that ASAP.

 

It should definitely be tier based, not rank based.

 

Problem is, I've some ppl around warrior/guard rank with really good characters; but pay characters. My point is that some low-tier ppl pay a lot to get good characters, and if pvp becomes tier-based only, there could be ppl with, say, 2 sr primes and 2 UM at maybe warrior 5, facing a person at warrior 5 who has not chosen to pay.

I'd say make pvp based off of 80% team strength, 20% tier, because it's obvious not to match up a recruit with a veteran.
