In one of the oldest dimensions in the multiverse lies one planet wide Cybertronian city – a hub for travelers from other dimensions. It is a city unlike any other in the multiverse, which maintains its relative harmony through strict adherence to the principle of "Dux non Intruitus": all Megatrons, Primes, miscellaneous other faction leaders, and MacGuffins from other universes are considered illegal.

Some travelers arrive here by their own design. Others, however, arrive by accident and must be processed. These "offworlders" are seen as inferior throwbacks by many of the proud and technologically-advanced TransTechs, and permission to travel outside the borders of Axiom Nexus to the rest of its native Cybertron is granted to a very scant few. As such, its inhabitants have a culture all their own, composed of markets and gangs and… well, a lot of markets and gangs.

    This is the Axiom Nexus

    AxNexTh.png

The towering spiral skyscrapers of Axiom Nexus pierced the bright blue noon sky. On different height levels, hovercrafts and flying mechanoids went by their business, swiveling between the buildings, one after the other, in a straight coherent pathway. Today was a very special day because for some strange reason, a whole lot more multiversal travelers were arriving. Either by accident or on their own accord. Far more than the norm for Nexus 208.0 Epsilon, hence why the Processing Center was crammed full today. With queues after queues, comprised of Transformers of all shapes and sizes. All checkpoints were stuffed and the underpaid staff was overwhelmed. Even for TransTech standards, today was a busy day.

A wine red mechanoid with a vehicular alternate mode, blue visor attached on his dark gray head, and a silver Autobot insignia on his chest. He looked to have a vehicular alternate mode, given that wheels stuck out from his chest and feet. The mech exited from transwarp transit, landing on an oval pad, connected to a building by a bridge. Normally this section would be empty because all ‘offworlders’ would have already be in the Processing Center but all 12 landing platforms (excluding the heavily armed Platform 13) were now full. The big dome-like building in front of him was what here was referred to as the Processing Center and was where one could proceed to Axiom Nexus. The mech turned around to observe the tall spiral buildings of Axiom Nexus. For him this type of construction looked unworldly, albeit some of the designs did had some familiarity with his own Cybertron back in his own universe.

“Greetings traveler and welcome to Axiom Nexus, a city unlike any other in the multiverse.” a male voice echoed from behind him. The wine red mech turned his head towards a tall silver and red mechanoid, which had a really otherworldly design.

“I’m new arrivals coordinator, Silverbolt. What’s yours?” he continued. He probably has done this over a dozen times by now, especially today.

“Inferno, sir.” the red Autobot replied, his voice filled with confusion and sincerity.

“No need for formality.” Silverbolt continued “Today our schedule is a bit overflowing with new arrivals, hence the queue. If you please, take your place behind the last in the line.” he gestured towards the end of the row “Everything else will be explain during and after processing.”

Inferno walked forwards, while the tall silver TransTech went on to address the next offworlder. The word ‘processing’ didn’t really fell in with the red mech but he had to obey the orders of those he saw superior, that’s how it was back in his home universe.

Somewhere in the line there was a light red and grey female. She obviously had some sort of aerial alternate mode, given the lack of any wheels and behind her head there was a rather large, though compact display of blades that were a light yellow-blonde in color among other various details. Her optics were of a salmon red color, and were keeping a good look at everything and everyone around, as she looked rather casual, sly even. Interestingly enough on her chestplate there was both a Decepticon logo, and an Autobot Logo, the Autobot Logo displayed smaller underneath the Decepticon logo, which had scratch marks over it. Her eyes quickly darted from place to place, gaging the size, shape, and layout of the area.

She watched Inferno talk to Silverbolt, there, however she stayed shut and didn't say anything.

"Hm, this will be most interesting...indeed..." she said to herself mentally.

A Cybertronian with a organic reptilian mode was next through the bridge, dragging a large sword through with him with several names etched into the blade. He took in his surroundings, before sighing. He knew this site all too well in the interim between the Great and Beast Wars.

"Customs" he groaned loudly. "Why's it gotta be customs."

He then looked at Silverbolt, eyeing up and down.

"You one of them Superion fellas. aren't you?" he said. "The red and silver looks familiar."

Above the building, a mechanical condor kept out of sight, watching in for new arrivals for its master.

On landing pad 3 materialized an orange and blue mech with a silver head. His shoulder pads stuck upwards, far above his head and they formed the front of his alt mode. Which for sure was an Earth car. Before him stood a tall black figure that wore a red visor. It had pointy shoulders and overall bulky design. The only thing that might have given away its alternate mode was the windshield on its chest.

"New Arrivals Coordinator Trailbreaker at your service. Welcome to Axiom Nexus, the one and only stop for your interdimensional travels and tribulations." he explained "Today is a busy day for all of us here and you’ll be waiting your aft off in these lines here. But once processing is done, you’ll be finally free to explore the Offworld section of Axiom Nexus."

He led the orange mech to the queue, which was a tad bit shorter, compared to the other landing pads, but not by much.

"I didn’t catch your name, pal. You’re surely from the Primax cluster though." Trailbreaker stated.

    "Windbreaker." the mech replied.

"Like the CEO of Hyperdynamix? What a coincidence!" the advanced mech stated before he left Windbreaker to sit in the line.

Silverbolt turned towards the short beast-transformer.

"Nothing as such exists here, on Axiom Nexus. Greetings!" the silver mech waved "Today our schedule is a bit filled and the processing procedure is really doing their best to be done with everyone here. Please take your place in the queue."

Silverbolt showed the cybertronian the line that just had moved one step forwards.

    ---

Meanwhile on another landing pad, a short mechanoid materialized. He was white with yellow highlights and a car hood for a chest, half colored in blue, and with a big red Autobot insignia on it. He landed face first on the floor.

“Welcome to Axiom Ne-” a voice stopped dead in its tracks, a thin pinkish arm extended towards the white Autobot “Need a hand?”

When he looked upwards, before him stood a thin pink fembot that had extended her long thin hand. She had a roundish head with two pink horns sticking on each side. The femme probably had a plane alt mode, judging from her back. From which stuck out several thin silver blades, that formed her wings. The white mech grabbed her hand and she pulled him on his feet.

“Elita-1, new arrivals coordinator.” she shook his hand “Hello and welcome to Axiom Nexus, the multiversal hub for offworlders of all kin.”

“Prowl… Prowl 2.” the white mech quickly recovered, his thoughts still slowly coming to him.

“Not so fast. After Processing is done we will determine how many like you have come through here.” Elita chuckled.

“No… That’s my name, Prowl 2.” the Autobot retaliated.

“Well that’s a first.” the pink femme replied “Go get in the queue. Today’s a bit crowded but you’ll get processed soon enough.”

Processed. The thought of this word started to fill the short mech’s head. He also noticed the numbering on the pad behind him, which was labeled as 6.

A small, white-armored mech materializes in a burst of rainbow energies, on Platform 13. The second he sees all the firepower is pointed at him, his optics widen. "Whoa, there!" He says as he looks to the other, unarmed platforms. "Nobody's going to shoot me here, right? Right?"

Two platforms over, a hulking femme in pinkish-copper emerges. She steps off of it, taking a brief look around.

A green crackling energy and a strange noise filled the air around the top of the Nexus landing platforms.
And with that a strange portal opened up as a black and orange bot fell out of the sky.
    "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
The portal closed, as the bot in question landed in a giant pile of crates not far from the main line of other mechs in question. He looked... different. Very different.
The mech in question immediately came up and started pointing a strange white bovine skull around the area, obviously confused as to where he was.
"HUH?! WHAT?! WHERE AM I?! Wh-...whoa the frag even is here?"
He slowly got his bearings as he stood and dusted himself off.
"Right. This ain't anywhere near Acadeimos... Remember, you're an Autotrooper...and a pro hero. This shouldn't be anything new..."
A tick went off as this mech's eyes widened, and he suddenly jumped to the left... followed by a piano immediately falling straight into the position he was just in.
"... goddammit, of course Straxus sent a piano after me... watch, next it's gonna be an anvil."

    ---

A bot with cyan and white was close to the middle of the line. He sat, waiting impatiently and tapped his foot incredibly quickly.
"Come on, what the hell's the hold up, can't they process crap here any faster?"
He was surprised when he heard a crash from further back in the line, and poked his head above the multiple heads of people there, as he looked over.
"Huh. Looks like another one of those messy arrivals."

In the queue on the bridge between the Processing Center and landing pad 6, stood a tall gray and blue mech. He had a red visor and a small Autobot insignia on his abdomen.

“Primus!” he moaned, for everyone to hear “Won’t this line get any shorter? I’m tired of waiting here! It’s hot and clustered.”

    “Frag off!” someone shouted.

“I don’t care.” another one stated.

“Yeah! That mech has a point. When will we get in?!” another one supported the mech on the other side.

This mech that seemed to complain a lot was called Siren and he hailed from a universe that was very similar to many Primax universes but was a lot different too. Some even referred to it as the ‘G1’s ultimate’ universe.

"When a fraggin' Aerialbot is bigger than me, you know that the world's going to hell" Grimlock growled, taking his place in the queue. "Then again, he always got the combiners. First Superion, then Magnaboss."

He gave a scornful look at whoever was in front of him to intimidate them.

    ---

Clampdown stared at the datapad in his left hand as he installed an ID Bolt into the person at the front of the queue.

"Alright, head to the next checkpoint" he said, not even looking at the subject as he pointed at the door. "Last time I cover for Trigger."

He then poked his head out to look at platform 13's queue.

"Next for processing" he called out to the queue.

    ---

The condor moved over to adjust it's view into the building. It seemed to be going through those in the queues, trying to pick out faces.

"Welcome to Axiom Nexus. I'm your new arrivals coordinator Elita-1." the TransTech greeted the femme in pink "Please get behind the last in line and head for the dome building over there, where you'll be processed."

    ---

A green and silver mechanoid approached the Autotrooper.

"Hi... sup..." he said in a relatively depressed tone "Welcome to Axiom Nexus, I'm Tap-Out. New arrivals coordinator of landing platform 8. You should probably get in the line."

He then walked off to address some other arrival. Tap-Out had probably done this over a thousand times today, the difference from mostly every other new arrivals coordinator, was that he hailed from a universe that wasn't the TransTech's.

Sheepishly, Speeder steps forward, happy to be out of the gun-sights. He doesn't know what "processing" implies, but it doesn't sound good to him. "At least it's better than back home. Though that's not saying much." He says to himself.

Elita's blue optics widen at the Transtech's name, but she says nothing for the time being. Staring into nothingness, she does as she is told.

Siren turned his head around, looking at the different mechs that were around. At the end of the line, he saw Silverbolt leading a new arrival to the queue.

"Interesting... a Eukarian of some sorts, I presume." he muttered to himself.

His optics then happened to land at a silver object moving above the large crowd.

"Did they allow drones here?" Siren wondered.

Cali walked on up to Silverbolt, regardless of whatever else in this room was going on. It was a bit of a clusterfuck as far as she was concerned, one in which she was rather eager to get out of.

"Now tell me here, how do I leave this...place? Silverbolt...? I guess?" she asked, rather out of her element here.

"Name" Clampdown said to Speeder as he entered.

He didn't even look up, resetting the scanner for Speeder.

    ---

The drone continued moving about the windows at the edge of he room, still not noticing anyone it found of interest.

Silverbolt didn't pay any attention to the offworlder's remark. Then just as he was to approach another new arrival, Cali asked him something.

"We've gone through this last time." he didn't foget her face, even though she may have been the 6000th or 7000th cybertronian he's seen today "Get in the queue, wait till you get inside the Processing Cneter, get an ID bolt and your tech specs and then you'll be free to go wherever you please."

Inferno turned behind him to see the beast-transformer.

"You one of them Predacons? Back where I'm from, I've never seen your kind." he remarked, still trying to process that his own universe is probably light years away.

    ---

"That was... unusual." Elita continued smiling, even though the pinkish femme had already gone to the end of the line "I didn't even ask her for a name..."

    ---

Elsewhere, a tall, bulky black, red and white mechanoid stood in the lineup. His patience was running out and the queue didn’t seem to move much. This mech was a beast-former for sure. The big bull head on his chest was a dead giveaway in all honesty. Plus, the fur on his shoulder pads and the wiggling tail, coming from his back, also contributed to his ‘animalistic’ design. He stood one head above the transformers around him, especially those that talked in beeps and boops. Accidentally, he bumped into one when he first materialized on Axiom Nexus. It was a short orange transformer with a scooter’s front attached on its hands. This mech hasn’t said anything since his arrival, only occasionally grunting and groaning, nobody knew his name or how to refer to him.

    ---

The lines began to process a bit faster, something inside the Processing Center was making them go quicker.

"Everyone please remain calm and no running inside the Processing Center, the TransTech staff will process you as is per protocol." a robotic voice announced on every single one of the 12 normal landing platforms.

"S-speeder." He replies. The detached demeanor of the other 'mech unsettles Speeder, but he says nothing of it.

The bot only scratched it's head more.
"Tap-Out? Wait, wait, wait, Weren't you a student at Acadeimos? What the hell you doing here? Why do you look so old? Did I travel into the future or something?"
    He shrugged.
    "Wait in the line? Really?"

He then heard the announncement, before cupping his hands to his face.
"THAT DOESN'T HELP EXPLAIN WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!!!!"

    ---

    Jumpforce was waiting behind Speeder.
He tapped his arm as he checked his fuel tanks and energon stores.

Cali did exactly as he had said. She proceeded into the queue and waited to get the things that he had spoke of. She was just eager to get out of this place, and go somewhere more quiet to collect her thoughts for the time being. This place was annoying.

"Alright, I'm going to perform a scan. It should ascertain your universe of origin and capabilities" said Clampdown. "And personality, according to my superiors, but I'm not convinced. Hold still."

He quickly scanned Spinner to collect the data and transfer into the ID Bolt. He then picks up the bolt attaches it to Speeder. He then goes over to a machine. Red, Purple or Blue?" he asked. "You need an ID card for non-transtechs, and those are the only colours we've got, not that it makes a difference."

    ---

"Maximal" snarled Grimlock. "You- oh for gods, sake you're Grapple, aren't you! Wait, no, the other one! Inferno! The first one!"
