IDW, please stop letting Ramondelli ruin your books. I realise he makes deadlines, but people are willing to wait an extra week or 2 for Good comics. just ask the MTMTE staf

That would be a interesting take on their origins. How they started on one side than switched sides and became leaders.

I wish IDW had let us wait a couple extra months so Livio could have drawn the final 2 issues of MTMTE instead of the jobber crap they gave us. What a waste the MTMTE issues of Titans Return were.

Livio is awesome compared to almost all of IDW's stable of artists, minus Milne and Roche. Nearly everyone else is much, much worse, delivering sub-coloring book-quality art with minimal understanding of sequential storytelling.

My opinion differs from yours greatly. As I see Ramondelli as the Uwe Boll of comic books. I'd rather have Pat Lee, Yuki Ohshima, or Tom Scioli doing art for a book than see Ramondelli's overshadowed, overtextured, barely recognisable as the character they're supposed to be "artwork"

Sure, and different tastes is fair enough. But I hate the majority of the IDW artists. To me, they're worse than modern day version of what Delbo was to G1. At least with Livio, the characters have weight, look like they're made of metal, and look like they're on another planet. I'm not tied to the simplistic traditional inking style, just because that's the way things have always been done. Livio's storytelling skills still need work, but that complaint is equally applicable to almost everyone at IDW.

I see what you're saying about dark and, for you, over-textured. But for me, I liken it to film noir. It's not for everyone, but it's a style I enjoy. What you may lose in visibility is more than made up for in atmosphere and mood. Things which are sorely lacking in most IDW books.

And again, I will take Roche or Milne on MTMTE over Livio more or less all the time. But pretty much none of the others, who are usually terrible.

Sick and tired of seeing the Livio hate. It's reminiscent of the over-entitled tantrums about Don Fig, who subsequently left the business impoverishing our comics forever. He's one of the most exciting artists IDW have, up there with Roche, Schioli and Milne. I don't know what particular bee people have in ther bonnets about his stuff but I love looking at it. His colouring sets mood like no-one else even approaches and his sense of environmental scale can be breathtaking.

This piece here is a trifle on the dark sidecolour-wise but I love the idea of Op with a decepticon symbol!

    Long Live Livio!

I miss the "-ocracy's" Though the last was disappointing. I wish the could channel the quality of the first 2 series into a good 4th installment.
