Why do people keep asking Legion or Legends? They are the same size people.

Well.... I suppose Hasbro did upscale them. Even though the newer figures are really the old basic size class.

No? modern Legion and Legends class figures are completely different size classes. the Legends in the Generations line are quite a bit bigger and more articulated than the Legion class in the RID line.

Yeah, the smaller class used to be Legends, then became Legion around the time of Prime's Cyberverse line if I'm not mistaken. The Commander scale somewhat became the modern Legends, in size if not spirit. No idea what the NuRiD Legion figures are called as I never payed attention to that line.

I wish Hasbro would bring back the label "Scout Class". To me, at least, that wording is easy and intuitive to understand.

So has anyone bought these yet? Would love to see more pics and size comparisons

If they are as cheap as said, I will buy them all for novelty sake. Could easily see these replace the old Legends figures found at Dollar General and Family Dollar. Those have been around forever now and need a break.

    Ebay:
"Legends Class" (Universe through ROTF) -> "Legion" (DOTM to today)
"Scout Class" (Cybertron through ROTF) -> "Commander" (DOTM through Prime) -> "Legends" (today)

I will get Megatron, Starscream and Grimlock, provided I'll find them anywhere in EU at their retail price.

I might even get three Starscream and two Megatron figures just to paint the entire Seeker trio and G2 Megs out of them.

Bumblebee and Optimus look really bad, tho.

They were all at my local department store today.

The price, just to reiterate, is in Philippine Peso (PHP).

It's a bad figure. The lack of elbows really restrict poseability, and the hollow legs prevent you from standing him up in most poses. The four step transformation is actually a bit interesting, as it differs from the Optimus standard. However, it results in the use of fake chest windows. The plastic is very cheap.

Here are some comparisons with the two other small Optimus molds. It's funny how the guy is taller than the T30 Legends.

Overall, it feels like a cheapo KO toy, so I guess Hasbro has that market properly covered now.

I may go back and get Megatron, just to see what the Decepticons are like with their fancy elbows.

Nah, Scout Class figures are still bigger than any Cyberverse Commander or modern Legends.

    It goes:
    >Old Legends/Legion
    >Commander
    >New Legends
    >Scout
    >Deluxe
    [Power Gap]
    >Voyager
    >Ultra
    [Power Gap]
    >Leader
    >Supreme

Yeah, miss the old Scout Class.

Actually, I wish they'd also bring back the Supreme-class for characters like Overlord. Titan-class, while awesome, kills a lot of shelf space.

That looks like oversized KO garbage.

If they shrunk those figures down to Legends scale then they'd actually be considered decent for their small size.

Way to go man. Fellow countryman represent :)
I'll check this out later on here in my area.

    Seriously, Hasbro covers both market:
    - KO market (hahaha)
    - Kids "value" demographic

300 pesos is just easy for a parent if his kid demands a transformer toy out of nowhere.
it's just like under $6.00 USD

That's an all new low for hollow legs. Then again, what else can you expect for $5.

However, Megatron and Starscream are much, much better than the Autobots. They are not only better looking with better build quality, they are also well articulated than Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

How comes that Optimus and Bumblebee are the absolutely worst of them and Cons got both weapons AND articulation?

Hasbro believes that their flagship names can sell even zero effort?

Also, Megatron transformation scheme is an almost exact copy of the Cyber Battalion one.
