You know what else is great about a potential "dual leg-transformation" for Whirl? It mean that whoever his inevitable repaint ends up being (Rotorstorm or whomever) you'll be able to transform the two of them differently to differentiate them. Fingers crossed that the design works as people are guessing (though I do remember seeing the digitigrade legs pictured on the prototype at Botcon).
yea as everyone pointed out, Whirl's legs look mistransformed. Should be two toe-digit front, and one back. And the helicopter skids on his legs will be facing outwards than inside if rotated so.
I'm ready for the Transformer panel tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the new announcements. I know they didn't show all their cards at Botcon.
What time is it going to start? My luck it's going to start at 2pm (5pm here), and I'll have two different panels to try and pay attention to...That is assuming there is a website that does live coverage of the TMNT panel, and Kickback is able to do a live coverage for the TF panel...

Whirl looks like he has a pretty good amount of paint applications and details painted on him in comparison to other Classics releases. His price point is $19.99. I really wish they would increase the price point to $29.99 instead of decreasing it so they could 1. put out a figure with more ratcheting joints 2. more paint applications 3. smaller form factor... give me a better figure not just a big one!
All the Whirl hate, I just don't get it, for 1 its got to be mistransformed and secondly I like the fusion of g1/idw its a very nice balance
