Hello Everyone! I am new to this team and have created some sample footage of the build. Please NOTE: There is no real documentation in this video, just some sample gameplay so people can get a taste of how the build plays and feels. More documented and focused video material will be made in future for everyone interested!

Now here is the footage itself:

If anyone has any queries on the topic I would be more than happy to indulge you on any details!

    Thank you for reading.

So in the last little period, we've found instructions for SFX in the game, so they're slowly being collected for youtube. A lot of the sfx for certain areas or enemies are collected in a single file, and then that file can play at different sample rates (44,100 Hz, 22,050 Hz, etc) to play the desired sound effect. It's an interesting form of compression, more heavily utilized in the Retail game as opposed to the Alpha.

There's been a bit more success with the ITF files in the game, which store textures and backgrounds. Here's a sample of a file called E3 Splash, which is one of the more interesting ones, given the subject matter (Dreamwave Transformers Comics incentive cover..?):

Who knew it would be hiding in an early version of a PS2 game, right??!?

Thanks for checking out the thread mate; I'm glad you can JaAm out to it!

Shoot me a PM if you'd like a HQ copy of it. I'm planing on doing a "complete" soundtrack release soon, I just want to double check everything and compile some more potential covers first.

    EDIT:

Sound Effects from the game now on my Youtube Channel!

I have linked the Alpha Build in all of the Youtube video descriptions, but you can find it here. I haven't tried playing on a modded PS2, which may have improved results, especially for Antarctica, but PCSX2 can manage it well enough with the right settings.

So we've been playing around with what we've got some more, so here's a small update. Another member of the team Hahmonen has been playing around with the Alpha and uploading some small videos to his youtube, which you can find here. Little things have been found, such as hidden minicons and enemies hiding under the stage, as well as the ability to collect all minicons.

We're also trying to access the supposed debug menu of the Alpha version.

As you can see, we can get to the menu via memory edits, but still not able to access it directly.

I've uploaded pretty much all the videos of material from the game as well, including sound effects, the making of, all music and videos. I've created playlists for a good chunk of it, so check it out here!

We've got a proper Discord Server going as well, so if you'd like to join, the more the merrier!

Is there a zip of the full score?Ive been trying to find it forever.

I know someone else uploaded some of the score and soundtrack to youtube years ago but it was missing alot of music.

I had had that issue as well with the score on Youtube, or at least the ones that I had found years back. People like Voltronix and Transformers G1 gave a pretty good attempt at it, though I only found their versions a earlier this year. My own video archive is complete with all tracks from all versions of the game, and a direct conversion, as opposed to a recording.

Either shoot me a PM or join the Discord, I did create a version of one, sans released material. There's a couple of things I still might tweak, but it's 98% done otherwise :)

I'm wondering if there is any chance the models from the game are floating around anywhere? I've always wanted to 3D print me some decepticlones.

Any chance that this Alpha version of the game is on a physical disk to play on a PS2?
