Transformers 4 Age Of Extinction Running Time Revealed - Transformers News - TFW2005
According to my local cinema listing (Empire Cinema) they've listed it as 166 mins so "About 2hr 45mins" seems about right.
I do realise 166 minutes is actually 2hr 46mins, they likely rounded it down.
I'm not seeing it but where did you get 2 hrs and 45 minutes?
The run time was confirmed at 2 hours 30 minutes. 2 hr 37 with credits.
2 hours of Robot dinosaurs, Robots Knights, robot samurai and robot commando
Its possible that their are additional parts added that were cut from the early release to avoid spoilers? A potential mid or after credits scene for example could explain the few spare minutes?
Closer to three hours now :3
So has it went up again from 150 minutes 157 with credits to 165 minutes?
I believe so, possible after credits or mid credits scene could explain it?
Mine hasn't changed hmmm maybe it's a typo? or it could be a possible updated runtime! If so Awesome!
If it was confirmed to be 2 hrs 30 mins, then why it is being shown as 2 hrs 45 mins on some other sites? I'm confused.
Whoa whoa whoa! Now that's pushing just a tad bit too far! Seriously? DOTM was ten minutes shorter than this and it dragged on forever! I think 2 hours and 30 minutes was fine, maybe pushed it a little, but this is wayyy too long for an action film.
Even if it turns out to be 166 minutes now, that's only 12 minutes longer than the 150 minute run time it was confirmed with. And Bay is going to directly compete with the Avatra movies which are going to be just as long if not longer.
Wish my theater had a promotion like that. (The Quadrathon) I'd be working that night but it would have been nice to have one.
Since AOE finally seems to take the TF Movie Franchise in the direction it should go, and considering all the incredible shots we've already seen, plus everything we haven't seen, the longer the better
