Hey everybody! Thought I'd let you know that I'm currently working on a cover of Imagine Dragons' 'Battle Cry'. It's sort of my contribution to celebrate the 30 years of Transformers, and since the instrumental is done by yours truly, it'll be a similar, yet slightly unique take on the song. I'm planning on releasing this song as a music video in the next few weeks to come, but there are other reasons why I want to create this thread already now. For one, I'd like to hear from you guys what you'd like to see in the video. My first idea is to film myself singing this song and add some Transformers: AoE clips to the video. However, I'm free and open to any other suggestions, including shout-outs to fellow Transfans (because someone actually asked me to). After all, this IS supposed to be an 30th anniversary video. ;D To give you an idea on what I have so far, here's a link to a little snippet of this song. So folks, I'm reaaallly excited to work on the cover of Imagine Dragons' new song titled "Battle Cry", because, well, I consider it by far one of the best instrumentals I've created on my own. I mean, I'm no guitarist, not a drummer and I definitely don't play strings... But I'm really happy with what I've done. With that being said, I'm making this instrumental available for 24 hours just to show you all what it sounds like, then I'm taking it down. Why show it in the first place? Because I'd like to get some feedback on the instrumental - what works, what doesn't and how can I improve. All right I'll cut the chit chat and get straight to the point. Here it is! So, I've just finished filming today. All that's left to do is to put everything together - audio and video - and Bamm! The video will be up either by the end of this week or the next one.
